This Private Manuel Antonio rental, has two homes, the secluded jungle retreat for your Costa Rica vacation. A spacious 1200 square foot ground level self-contained unit of a two story, two home villa with large 25 ft. X 14 ft. private swimming pool located in the award winning beach and sun vacation destination of Manuel Antonio positioned in the heart of the verdant Central Pacific rainforest. The ground floor home has 1bedroom w/ queen bed plus queen size futon in living room (sleeps 4), 1 bath, laundry room, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and dining table for four inside and on the pool deck. New 40-gallon electric water heater NOTE: A a minimum of a two (2) night stay is required, to book this property. We live upstairs in our own private home and provide things when you run out.

Short stay

The suite is large and well appointed. Very comfortable. Basically impossible to find, but Barry will come out to get you. (hint: stay left at the pink statues) Barry was very attentive and offered to help with whatever we needed.

Pura Vida in the rainforest

What a great time we had staying at Villa Vista Verde! We loved having our own pool and patio to swim and watch the wildlife. It’s surrounded by the rainforest and we saw both white-faced and titi monkeys, red macaws, lizards and a variety of beautiful birds and butterflies. Barry and Annie are wonderful hosts and eager to help with tours or anything we needed. The rental space was comfortable and spacious enough for my husband and I and our adult granddaughter.

Great communication from hosts

The place was very clean except the bedroom needs a deep clean. Lamp shades, window sills and bedframe. Very centrally located. Barry is willing to help with any questions and has printed maps and activity brochures at the location for you. Would recommend this place, but did not love the bed. Frame is very freaky and is coming apart in spots .

Definitely will stay again!

Wonderful, quiet spot with a good size pool. Barry and his wife went way out of their way for me to have an amazing stay! Everything you need is there. If there is any issues, Barry is right on it. Everything was very clean and enjoyable. As far as them living above, it was never an issue. They give you all the privacy you want. I did by choice, spend some time with Annie, Barry's wife and had great conversations. Not only did I enjoy my stay, I made new friends! The bus stop is only about 15 minute walk and easy to get transportation cheap. Thank you both, Barry and Annie! I will be back!

I am a semi-retired nurse-midwife still doing international health work part time. My husband is a retired private business owner. We are both volunteering time with Kids Saving the Rainforest in nearby Quepos, a wildlife rescue, rehab & release center that offers tours of the wildlife sanctuary.

Access to excellent healthcare if needed 10 minutes away. Completely self-contained unit with completely equipped kitchen and laundry room. Sleeps 4. We live upstairs in our own private home.

30-minute walk to a waterfall and swimming hole from our property. 6-minute walk to the road that runs between Quepos and Manuel Antonio Park with buses that run every 30 minutes for 60 cents a ride per person. Free local maps.
