Fuja da agitação da vida diária neste histórico, casa em frente à praia rústica. Construído em 1925, por George Albert Zabriskie, esta bela casa foi muitas vezes o local do partido para vários amigos de Zabriskie, incluindo os Rockefellers!
A propriedade fica em um trecho extenso da terra, na zona de não-condução da praia mais famosa do mundo, tornando-se praticamente a sua própria praia privada.
O Doldrums é de aproximadamente 3600sq. pés, tem uma piscina, fontes decorativas, autênticos azulejos espanhóis e design, um belo pátio para recebê-lo ea propriedade é cercada por portões de ferro forjado. No gramado de trás há uma grande cabana tiki que é perfeito para o uso da fogueira, ler um livro, ver os golfinhos passam, contando os pelicanos enquanto voam em cima, ou simplesmente relaxar e estar em paz.
This property was a dream come true, and the property manager - Lara - was exceptional and made our stay perfect.
Well, how I can start! We started plan our wedding in March and we chose this beautiful Spanish style house right on the beach. We wanted an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception, and we had all set for that day: October 8, 2016. We rented this house for 4 days so we could have our wedding and a couple of extra days to enjoy the beach and the pool with close family and friends after the wedding. But we got an uninvited guest -Hurricane Matthew- who decided to show up in Daytona Beach area one day before. However, we came up with plan B, C, D to have our wedding in this house. Lara Butera, the property manager was helpful with every idea to make this work on Saturday but unfortunately, we had to cancel all our wedding plans and mini-vacations in this gorgeous house after a mandatory evacuation that was issued in Ormond Beach two days before the wedding day.
We visited the house several times to have all set for our wedding, so we can tell how beautiful and nice this house is. It's right on the beach, you just have to walk out from the backyard and feel the sand and the ocean in your toes. And you know what is the best part of it? There is no car access to this side of the beach, so you can enjoy all this beauty in all its glory. The house also has a large pool so it's kind of a private resort with all the accommodation that you ask for great vacation.
The location is close to the main accesses of Ormond Beach, Granada Blvd and A1A, that will take you to any touristic place around, but it's secluded enough so you can have a quiet rest.
The house inside is gorgeous in every way. Spanish style with murals, bricks and colors, and really comfortable with big windows in the living room to see the ocean while you're watching tv.
Since our reservation was canceled by a natural event that escaped from the hands of both sides, they gave us the option to reschedule the date of our reservation at no additional cost, but we decided to get married on Sunday Oct. 9 after the hurricane had passed in a different location (the area where the house is was still under warning after the hurricane, so we couldn't use it). Lara without hesitation made a total refund of what we paid and it was immediate.

We have stayed the past 2 years in a row and have loved every minute. You can't get a more convenient location with the seclusion this property provides. Beach is free of traffic and far enough from public access to keep it free from daytrippers. We watched the beautiful sunrises each morning and were even visited by a pod of dolphins each morning. The property has incredible charm with all the space we needed. The outdoor spaces rival the historic building with multiple spots to cool off or enjoy the direct onceanfront view. I almost hate to write a review, would love to keep this incredible property our own family secret.
Great location with no cars on the beach almost private with a large pool. Also, has a tiki hut next to pool if a rain shower comes by. Lots of room inside. Property manger very helpful. We have already booked for next year.

We needed to get away after a surgery and lengthy recovery. The beach sounded perfect. The house is on the "private" part were no cars can go and since the public beach approaches are about .5 miles either way, hardly anyone came around. Its like your own beach. The property is quiet and gated and the pool has walls, so it's very secluded. We were very relaxed and happy and recharged when we left!
Ormond Beach é o vizinho do norte de Daytona Beach; casa de praia mais do World Famous, Spring Break, o Daytona International Speedway, a Daytona Beach Cubs, e os eventos Biketoberfest e Bike Week infames. O Aeroporto de Daytona fica a 20 minutos de distância e é mais conveniente para voar para.

Daytona possui um parque aquático local e área de cais a Main Street que tem arcadas, passeios e um novo Crab Shack Joe no cais clássico. O Doldrums é o local perfeito para todas as atividades ao ar livre (especialmente golfe e pesca em alto mar) minutos de excelentes restaurantes, lojas e entretenimento. Nunca há uma falta de coisas divertidas para fazer.
