The condo had everything we needed and was a safe haven from our ventures to the many destinations we traveled to. Our hosts were very accommodating and insured that we had a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Wonderful beach property!

My family absolutely loved our stay. From driving up to the secure parking garage, to the lovely complex, to our great condo for a week. The view off the patio was amazing and my kids enjoyed the boogie boards and sand toys that Richard already had there. Richard was great and made sure to meet us so we understood everything and to show us around. The beds were comfy and the appliances are even all upgraded. The washer and dryer helped us keep our swimsuits and beach towels fresh (a huge plus). Although we didn't even use the stove but once because there were so many great eateries nearby. The beach was only a few steps away and perfect. It was not at all crowded like many of the beaches in San Diego. There is even a park for the kids to play right next to the complex and the pier is not far away either. My girls got to swim with a friendly seal who came to watch my girls as they boogie boarded and we saw a few dolphins. I could go on and on about this place but I'll just add one less note. The price and fees (or lack thereof) for this condo was extremely reasonable! My family was able to enjoy a perfect and affordable beachside spring break vacation. Thanks Richard (and Sandie) for sharing your place with us.

Comfy, Convenient, and Fun

This condo has all that's needed for a lovely stay at the beach. We stayed a month, and we loved it! The ocean view from the living room lets you keep on eye on the waves as they crash on the beach. We walked on the beach daily, took day trips to nearby sights in San Diego, ate at the local restaurants, and shopped the farmer's market at the pier on Friday..

Elevator access via the secure garage was convenient. The complex was quiet and clean.

Richard and Sandie are gracious hosts eager to make their guests welcome and comfortable. We will absolutely be back!

Loved the beach

Richard was there to greet us and was very gracious. Condo was great. Everything was there that we needed; towels, toys, plenty of pots and pans to cook with. Used the washer and dryer almost every day. Beach was right outside the door and was a very quiet beach. Met the neighbor the first day and exchanged football rivalries with him and his friends. Would love to come again next year.

Resposta do proprietário: We have upgraded many of the features in the past 3 months. We have new living room furniture, new kitchen appliances, and overhead fans in the two bedrooms and living room. We are continually trying to improve the unit for our guests. We feel that this complex in Imperial Beach has more value than most rentals. Please share in the pleasant vacations of previous guests.

Just happy to be at the Beach

We were pleased with the Location of this property. There is some shopping and food very close by. The Pier is close. The beach is out the back gate, shopping is out the front gate. We love to jacuzzi and Pool...which was very close to this unit. We like to stay up late, so the noise from upstairs did not bother us a bunch, all I can figure is the tenant is either a Bartender, or a grave yard shift person. Richard and Sandy were nice on each occasion that we made contact. The Dryer doesn't work well, but it was not a huge issue for us:) The Beach is not crowded, lots of seashells, and rocks at low tide:)

you can do better

We were very disappointeed in this condo. First it was extremely noisy especially between the hours of midnight and four AM. It was very difficult to sleep especially in the master bedroom - very poor noise protection through the ceiling. Secondly, the refrigerator froze all our food for the entire stay - they could not seem to get it fixed. Lots of other little issues as well. This was a very poor value for the money. We did love Imperial Beach, however.

Resposta do proprietário: Our attempt to upgrade our appliances seemed to backfire on us. We purchased a new stove, microwave, and refrigerator with the anticipation of increasing our renter's satisfaction. The refrigerator is now fixed and the other appliances are in good working order. I regret that we couldn't get the refrigerator repaired for the last renter. Concerning noise from the unit above us, we were not aware there had been a problem until the renter reported it the day before they moved out. Our HOA has by-laws that address these noise issues and will levy fines for people who violate the by-laws. We will address this with the management of the HOA.
