I am unable to ever make plans ahead of time and had to travel with a cat so I just hopped on the internet looking for pet friendly and found this lovely apartment. Jim, the owner, was very professional and the unit was clean and fresh and contained everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. I loved the preservation of history, and the pool are was the prettiest and cleanest I have seen anywhere.
As a coincidence I am a cat lover and when we arrived we were greeted by friendly kitties living in paradise that Jim rescued, and they made it an even happier place while reminding me of my times in Key West.
If you love to shop, City Place is nearby. I mapped the way Macy's and it was only a 10 minute walk!
Unique Historic 2BR Key West Style Carriage House: Exactly what it was with comfort, quiet relaxation, easy to use, walking distance to City Place and Clematis St., hidden in a tropical oasis setting. The tropical gardens engulf this property taking you to a hide away like an expensive hotel except, it's all yours. We hung at the pool with coffee in the mornings and chilled in the evenings before going out at night. Centrally located with short drives to visit North Palm Beach to Lake Worth.
The Carriage house is a throwback to the 1930's with every amenity you could need. Every little thing you could need to cook or go to the beach was there, even shoves, buckets and ice chest to play on the beach. We were blown away with the attention to detail that Jim had put into setting up this property.
There is no hesitation that we would go back or recommend this property.

We came into town for the weekend to dive the area and found this perfect little relaxing carriage house with a pool surrounded by beautiful lush tropical foliage nestled within walking distance to CityPlace for the nightlife and in a great safe feeling neighborhood. Our dog was welcome and there is a nice dog park just a few blocks down the road. Owners are great! Very friendly and made us feel welcome. This will be our "go to" place from here on out when visiting West Palm. Couldn't ask for more.

I cannot fault this lovely place at all. Very clean and child friendly - my son loved it and desperately wanted to bring the Bobcat home!
The style and decor is quite European and quaint. Two big bedrooms meant that we had room to unpack and live happily for nearly two weeks.
Walkable to city place and clematis and close enough to hit the beach early in the mornings.

The carriage house apartment was a very comfortable, clean place to stay. We appreciated the dog friendly attitude and so did our dog. The area was great since it was within walking distance of City Place, the Norton Museum and the convention center which we took full advantage of. We also found the Farmers' Market on Clematis St. on Saturdays one of the best we've been to. The owners were very friendly and gave us helpful ideas about food shopping and other amenities in the area. We and Sparky (our dog) also loved going to the nearby dog park. We wanted to rent again for next winter but the apartment was already taken!!
The property is very clean and well-maintained. The owner and his partner are very nice. The pool is wonderful and the bar just cute.
I rated only 4 stars because of the railway which is only a couple of feets away. At night there are at least 2 - 3 trains passing by. In a 2 weeks stay you can not get used to it so are awake every time. But this really is the only negative.

This Short-Term Rental Agreement (Agreement) is made by and between Carpathian Services L.L.C. (Landlord) and Click here to enter text. (Tenant) and as of the date set forth on the signature page of this Agreement. For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:
The Property is located at 512 N Street, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401. The property is furnished and includes a refrigerator / freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, glassware, dinnerware and cookware in the kitchen; iron, ironing board, flat-screen HD television with cable service, internet access via Ethernet cable and WiFi, individual room wall air conditioner / heater unit in the living room and in each of the two bedrooms, air conditioner, beds and bed linens, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths; ceiling fans.
The term of the lease begins ; check-in is after 3 p.m.; and ends ; check-out is no later than 11 a.m.
3. Rental Rules

Tenant shall allow Landlord access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Landlord shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner.
5. Rental Rate and Fees
A deposit in the amount of $200.00 is due in order to secure a reservation. A refundable cleaning/security deposit of $100.00 is due upon arrival and a refundable pet damage security deposit of $n/a is due upon arrival. 1/2 of balance is due one month prior to arrival $ and balance due upon arrival is $ .
6. Cancellation Policy; a $25 cancellation fee may apply for any cancellation. Cancel one month prior to arrival for a full refund, after one month forfeit deposit and /or payments (this can be refunded to you if the property is rented out again for the same dates).
7. Payment can be made in cash, check (drawn a branch locally), thru PayPal, or with a credit card (4% service fee)
