My family and I stayed at this house for a week in June. We loved every part of it. We love the renovated hardwood floors and the style the home has. The pool is a huge plus for a family with 3 kids. The entire home feels private. We didn't have access to the cottage at the home but the screen in porch separates it from the main house and we both said we would love to bring other family members with us next time so that we could have a larger gathering than we did this year. The cottage is entirely separate and private. Both have great access to the pool. The outside pool area is surrounded on all sides and cannot be seen into by neighbors or any passers by. Very private. My family and I did not spend tons of time at the beach during our visit, but we did go a few times. It is a straight shot to numerous beaches (not just Siesta Key) in the area. We could get to them all in 20 mins or less. All of them have very easy and accommodating access. This was our first visit to Sarasota but we plan to make it an annual trip and will always try to choose this rental when we come.
We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay here in April. Not only did the Sunshine State live up to it's name, but the home lived up to it's billing as well. Very well kept but for some pet hairs on living room furniture. I have been coming to Sarasota area for over 40 years and own rental properties in town, and come down 2 to 3 times a year to inspect my properties. This is first time staying this far north of town and was a little hesitant as it is close to airport. Airplane noise is not too bad and it seems like a very nice neighborhood, and sunsets on Sarasota Bay are very nice and just a minute walk down to the end of street. Plenty of towels, linens etc. and most everything you need to head to beach. We had to scrounge around in garage for some saute pans for cooking but everything else was sufficient. Pool was a plus but a little cool so put solar cover on to warm it up. We would stay here again. Thank you.
The house was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities we needed to make our weeks stay very pleasant. The pool was a great added feature even after coming home from the beach. The locaion of the house was perfect. Easy access to many resturants, shops and beaches. Siesta Key was a hit with us.
The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Great area for walking and beautiful sunsets. Can't wait to go back.
The owner and the people I dealt with at the Rosebay were very helpful, responsive and easy to work with.
We come to Sarasota ever year to see my husband's Grandparents. This is the first time we rented a home to stay in. My parents also stayed with us. They fell in love with the area and plan to buy close by soon. The house is so spacious and beautiful. You will fall in love when you enter. Loaded with everything you would dream of needing. The pool was very nice. The bay is walking distance with a stunning view of the water. The owner was very sweet and helpful with the renting experience. Lots of places to dine out or shop close by. Various beaches within a short drive. Overall we all agreed it is a wonderful home and property. Very luck to find it and wish to Thank Mr.Lyon for sharing his home with us..
This home has a great lay out. Just bring your clothes,food and bath room items.It"s well maintained and service is outstanding.
The neighborhood is safe and friendly and your not far from places to shop,to eat and from the beach.
Everything was wonderful. It didn't take long to feel at home away from home. We were able to entertain several guests and everyone replied that they'd like to use this rental for their next trip to the area! So glad to have found it! Thank you for offering us such an enjoyable, clean, well maintained home for our vacation.
