Comfortable, spacious condo, great location

Thank you so much for letting us stay at your property. We really enjoyed the Condo, the location and the riding at Heavenly. I ended up meeting the son of one of the other condo owners in the complex, and he was good enough to take me out for the afternoon. We went through Killabrew a couple of times (Pipeline) - I agree that this is some of the steepest terrain I have been on. Also several runs through Mott Canyon - the best was a challenge to get to, but worth it - almost untouched powder.

The direct walk up through the snow from the top of the condo complex was interesting the first few times as there were no previously packed tracks - I'm not sure if you know how much powder there was - very hard work, but certainly the best way up. Coming home was easy - just ride down the hill!

We also went to the restaurant you suggested Chimaya (?) Grill - very nice. Our boards were waxed by the guys you recommended, and were ready first thing next morning.

I will be recommending your condo to anyone else I know going to Heavenly, and I hope to be able to visit again.

Resposta do proprietário: Thanks so much for being our Guests. Glad you didn't have to rent a car coming all the way from Australia can't be inexpensive. Yes, Killebrew Canyon is Steep and Deep. And Mott Canyon does have some of the tightest shoots with the steepest lines. I hope you got to the Fire Break Trail too, it takes you all the way down to the Gondola. Probably one of the best times in years to be back in that Area. The walk up in such a big snow year may be easier just on the road, the ride home is a breeze though. Chimaya Grill is excellent and Nepheles, Cafe Fiore across the Street are probably 2 of the BEST Restaurants in Tahoe. It sounds like my Buddies at Rip-n-Willies took care of you. Awesome shop with very knowledgeable, quick and inexpensive work. I have gone there for years, really solid guys. You will have to come back for some Spring Skiing should be OUTSTANDING and late into the year. Thanks again, The Weber's

Great place and owner!

My family of four stayed at this property for a week over the summer. The property was very nice and clean, exactly as it appears in the pictures. My kids especially liked playing in the loft area, it was their secret hideaway. We also enjoyed going to the club house (conveniently located directly across the driveway) and trying to teach the kids how to play ping pong. The property was also centrally located, which was helpful as we explored the area. But what set this experience apart from others was the owner, John. From the beginning John was super responsive to questions and provided suggestions for our itinerary. And when we decided to leave a day early (due to the kids, not the property), John was very understanding and discounted the cost of our last day booked. To top it all off, one of my kids left her watch at the property and only realized this after we were well on our way home. John went out of his way to locate the watch and have it shipped to our house in a short period of time, much to the relief of my daughter. All in all, we enjoyed staying at this property and John made the experience so much better. Thank you, John!

My wife and I went to café Fiori the other night which is about 700 yards from the place… Outstanding! Great place for a family stay

Condo is well maintained and well furnished. We have 3 kids and the kids have their own place to play and TV. Kids really enjoyed the place. We would highly recommend it for families with kids. Location is perfect to reach the lake.

We have raised are kids up there so there is a pack n play, strollers etc. As they have gotten older they have enjoyed endless hours of SAFE outdoor play in the Forest and Clubhouse/Pool Area. The TV's, and I just added a ton of channels on cable, makes for a relaxing afternoon after activities. Thanks again for staying with us. Please come back and visit us in the Winter it is equally as fun!!! The Weber's

Perfect for our holiday!

Booking with Kristine and John was quick and effortless. They were helpful and accommodating! Directions and finding the spot was easy. The condo is older but neat and clean! Car port was really handy. Snowshoeing was right outside our condo so that was a bonus for sure. Hot tubs were good but need the leaves cleaned out of them each day.

Condo unit was well equipped and our only concern was getting the tvs to work...which really wasn't a big concern.

Thanks for sharing your unit with us!! The Canadian girls!

I am glad that you took advantage of some of the Snowshoeing. The Power Line Trail right by the place is great year round for Snowshoeing, Hiking, Mountain Biking and Running. People come from miles around to enjoy it. The Car Port is really handy in a Winter like this one or even in the Summer with lots of kids and gear. We try to keep the condo VERY Clean and appreciate how clean you left it. Sorry about the TV's I was personally there right after you and did not have any challenges. Please come back in the Summer to see the run off it is going to be absolutely spectacular!! Thanks, The Weber's

Wonderful experience

The condo was perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the pellet stove kept us warm even though it was a particularly cold weekend. Our kids (9 and 11) loved the loft room, club house, and playing outside in the snow. The house was well-equipped with lots of night lights and all the little kitchen items we needed, and instructions for the appliances were very clear and easy to follow. The covered parking is great, but clearance is low so if you have a roof rack like we do you will need to take it off to fit.

The owners were very communicative before, during, and after our stay to make sure everything was going well. The onsite manager was also very friendly.

The location so close to Heavenly was very nice, allowing us to make it to the lifts before traffic started backing up through the surrounding neighborhoods on the weekends.

We will definitely try to stay here on future trips to Tahoe.

Resposta do proprietário: Glad your Family enjoyed the lay out of the Place. Our kids are at a point that the Loft is like their own apartment, but still very close to keep an eye on. Heavenly is SO close, glad you avoided some of the crowds. Most of the time we are up and on the Hill before anyone gets there and by the time it gets a little busy we are almost done for the day. My Kids just LOVE the proximity of the Clubhouse and have enjoyed endless hours of play. We feel extremely safe with them outside too and let them play in the snow on their own on sight. It is a Wonderful place year round thanks so much for being our Guests and please come back The Weber's
