This spacious home is ready for outdoor enthusiasts. It can easily accommodate 9 people. The upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a full bath. The downstairs boasts a great room with sliding glass door walls overlooking the creek and large screen smart TV. It also offers a wet bar, full bath, fully stocked kitchen and dining area with seating for 12. Cable TV and wifi are available. A smart TV is also in the bar area for easy streaming.

The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed. The second bedroom contains a queen-sized bed and a twin bed. The third bedroom cotnains a full-sized bed. There is also a full-sized pull-out couch in the living room.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, coffee pot (drip and keurig_, toaster, griddle, crock pot, cookie sheets, bowls, etc. You will also find a variety of spices in the cupboards.

A gas grill is available for use on the deck. The deck also has 2 large picnic tables, a table with seating for 6 in the gazebo and an outdoor table with umbrella and seating for 6.

Fishing season opens in April! The creek is stocked with trout and there are several great fishing holes in the immediate area.

Pine Creek is great for rafting, canoeing and kayaking in the spring and occasionally during the summer months. The creek level raises and lowers quickly so be sure to check the water level when planning your outdoor activities. Pine Creek Outfitters has a great website that links to river level readings. You can find information on the local area at pinecrk.com

Summer months are great for floating in an inner tube on the creek! Relaxing on the deck, sitting around a campfire, pitching horseshoes and much more!

The PA Grand Canyon is a short distance away and offers great hiking trails and picturesque views. Cherry Spring State Park is also a short distance away and has been named as a "Dark Sky" area and offers great star gazing opportunities.

The Pine Creek Rail Trail is approximately 3 miles from the cabin and it is great for hiking and biking.

Nice cabin feel by the river

What I liked: roomy downstairs with a large living room and a bar with proper glasses. Well equipped kitchen with high quality new appliances. Additional supply of blankets and towels. Quiet area with a large deck, top of the line BBQ and place to huddle down by the river. On the downside, while a quiet neighborhood, you could hear the traffic noise from the road on the other side of the river. The interior, while comfortable was also dark with wood paneling throughout the downstairs area. The one thing I found odd was the third bedroom where the corner had a railing instead of a wall (like a Juliet balcony) with a curtain to ensure privacy. However, this does not block out noise. This may be fun with young children but we were all adults so that a little awkward. Overall it's good place

the house was great, vary nice area, and the house had too much space for the 4 of us that went on our getaway but we loved every minute there. We would go back for sure.

Grateful and Thankful!

We have had such a busy year and were so thankful to be able to spend a few days away in such a lovely home and area. We rode the rail trail on our bikes each day, took in the scenic overlooks around the PA Grand Canyon, waded in the stream (which was low due to the very dry summer), but we even enjoyed a good rain shower which brought the creek up several inches. Everything at the house was clean, lovely, in good working order and we lacked for nothing! Loved every moment of our stay. Thank you to our hosts for sharing this lovely, quiet spot! (And if you stay, you must make reservations for dinner at the Log Cabin Inn just across the entrance road!! Excellent!!)

Pine Creek is a great place to spend quality family time together. Our family had a place on Pine Creek years ago and when we found this home we immediately fell in love with it. It lends itself to large get togethers. Bring friends or family and spend time in the great PA outdoors!

Restaurants are located within .2 of a mile. Canyon Cruise and Pine Creek Outfitters are both located nearby for kayak, canoe and bicycle rentals. The Pine Creek Rail Trail access is approximately 3 miles from Eagle's Nest.
