Beautiful and large apartment, part of the project of the villas of the architect Poggi, of 100 square meters completely renovated and completed in January 2017, located in the elegant and renowned area of San Niccolò, adjacent to the Lungarno in the historic center of Florence.

From the entrance, with a short walk, you get to the well-known Piazzale Michelangelo from which to enjoy one of the most famous panoramas in the world; in a short time, the major sites of historical interest in the city can also be reached.
The apartment, like its twin F boutique in via luigi carlo farini 19, is part of an ancient villa called "Villa alle Rampe" and has been finished with the highest quality materials such as oak parquet and Carrara marble in the bathrooms.
All rooms (large living room with kitchen and three bedrooms) are comfortable, bright and with a splendid view.
The location of the property is so strategic as to guarantee you enjoy the historic heart of Florence and, at the same time, the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding greenery that characterizes the surroundings of Piazzale Michelangelo.
The furnishings reflect the typical Florentine style, with some unique antiques purchased from the well-known local antique dealers.
At your disposal you will find a very high speed wi-fi station, TV, as well as quality linen and all the accessories necessary for the use of the kitchen up to a total. of 8 guests.

Lack of candor

Despite frequent text exchanges prior to check in re our obligation to pay the tourist tax - the manager did not explain that the front room had flooded. She did tell us while we were standing there with the taxi gone. She never explained that the dish washer no longer worked and that a grey green slime came up when you turned the hot water on. We discovered it on on own. The front door to the building is wonderful but the lock sucks and is a safety hazard—there is no way to get through that door in the event of a fire. Keep the door modernize the lock.

Lovely apartment with everything we needed and gracious hosts!

The apartment is very comfortable and we were greeted by Rebecca with such grace. She let us come in early to check in so we had a place for luggage(7 of us) and went over everything in detail.... VERY helpful! Close to all the sites we wanted to see and would highly recommend this apartment. NO washing machine FYI. Our last day, we went to do some more site seeing before heading to Rome and she allowed us to leave our luggage so we would not be burdened with it. We picked it up at 4pm and the Denise had the apartment cleaned around our things. This was so comforting to not have to worry about dragging our things the last day. Any other site would have us leave by 10-11 am and we would have been in the lurch. Thanks to Rebecca and Denise:) The DeGroote family

Wonderful stay-- hope to return!

Our family of 5 just returned from a visit to Florence and spent 2 nights in this beautiful apartment-- brightly lit, beautifully appointed, and with modern bathrooms. A bottle of wine was waiting for us upon arrival and cold beverages in the refrigerator. Denise, and her daughter Rebecca, were very gracious and responsive to every question and concern and arranged for cabs and dinner reservations for us. Not to be missed-- dinner at Beppe Fioraia on Denise's recommendation-- favorite meal during our travels throughout Italy. Wonderful coffee shop-- L' Officina-- across from the building. We loved the location, close to steps ("rampa") leading to Piazzale Michelangelo and walking distance to the Ponte Vecchio and the city center. There is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up to the 2nd floor. Google Maps led us astray with the actual address and directed us to a location around the corner from the apt. Denise had been waiting for us and came out to show us the way. Recommend using "Piazza Francesco Ferrucci" instead of the actual address if you are relying on Google Maps as we did. Hope to return to Florence and stay in the Martini's lovely apt. again!

Fantastic location and nice apartment with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms!

We had an amazing time exploring Florence at this apartment easily situated away from the touristy areas but not too far to walk and enjoy! We loved the fact it was situated in a nice residential area with lots of restaurant and bakeries to choose. The kitchen could of been equipped a little bit better. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment!
