Our house has recently been completely remodeled and re-decorated top to bottom. New kitchen, new appliances, new bathrooms (marble and tile), new furniture, new stone fireplace, big flat screen TVs in the front and back living rooms, new washer/dryer, new in-floor heat, new carpet. All bedrooms have deluxe bedding, down comforters and luxurious linens changed every season …… It is amazing! Check out the photographs and as seen in 303 Magazine and Peak Magazine.
Our house is in the heart of historic Crested Butte, (a block from the bus stop and a block from Elk Avenue). It is situated on the sunny and quiet side of the street, providing a perfect place to stay for one or more families any time of year. With two separate living areas, the house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel at home. But despite all the room, it still has a cozy feel.
In winter you can relax by the fireplace or in the private back-yard hot tub. In spring, summer, and fall you can lounge and cook outside on one of two sunny and private south-facing back decks (upper and lower) or on the friendly front porch. We've found it to be an ideal vacation home in any season.
Skiers and hikers will find the front entry/storage room to be a convenient place to stow all your gear. In addition to high-speed internet, there is of course a full laundry room.
As mentioned, the house is only a block from Elk Avenue (Crested Butte's main street), so it's just a short walk to most of Crested Butte's great restaurants -- and close to all the shopping and just a block to the Old Town Hall bus stop where a free shuttle leaves every 15 minutes for the quick 3-mile trip up to the ski area at Mt. Crested Butte.
We love the place and it shows! We are constantly updating and improving the house ...... and we know you will put this at the very top of your list of favorite homes to stay in! It is a rare find.
The house is managed by a full time caretaker and we as owners are diligent about keeping the place at the high standard of cleanliness and order you would expect. We have a group of professional cleaners who keep the place immaculate.
