It will be a pleasure to welcome you at check-in. In case our schedule don't coincide I'll always be available by phone. Surely we will meet during your stay. On request I can recommend our best local restaurants or cultural excellences. Although we love the furry friends you can not host them.

The apartment is located in a strategic area of Fucecchio, we are just a few minutes walking from the town center (shops, laundry, banks, food etc.) but with a nice view on the hills of San Miniato and near the Arno river. The apartment is a short walk from the historical center with its Civic Museum, the Foundation of Indro Montanelli, the Collegiate Church, the Church of San Salvatore and the beautiful Poggio Salamartano, an authentic balcony on the Arno valley. The supermarket can be reached by car in 5 minutes or in 10 minutes on foot (although walking is not recommend for the narrow roadway). In this area there are important outlet stores like Prada, Harris and Sax.
Fucecchio and our apartment are an excellent starting point to explore the surroundings starting with the nearby towns of Vinci (home town of Leonardo), San Miniato, Certaldo and Montecatini Terme. Within 60 km you reach Florence, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Livorno, Versilia, Volterra, Chianti. It will be a pleasure to stay in Fucecchio !!!

Fucecchio, even if not included in traditional sightseeing "grand tour", deserves at least a day trip! The most important things to visit while walking in the old town are the Civic Museum and the Foundation of Indro Montanelli, the greatest Italian journalist of '900. You can drive a few minutes to discover an original tract of Via Francigena, the route taken by pilgrims from Canterbury to Rome. You'll also find the Padule of Fucecchio, a natural beautiful oasis where you can practice bird wathcing, hiking or play and relax in a meadow. Lastly you cannot leave Fucecchio without a visit to Duilio, the legendary rotisserie where locals order their Sunday lunch.
