DRYWALL was installed in family room and master bedroom in July 2020 (paneling and title ceilgin was removed from these two rooms and replaced with drywall, updated photos coming soon). Two bedroom, one bath home in Ocean Lakes. One king bed in bedroom one, one full/double in bedroom two, plus a day bed and a pull out sleeper sofa. Bring your own linens and food and you will never have to leave the community during your vacation. Stacked washer and dryer in large bathroom. House trained, well behaved and vaccinated pets considered (some breeds are not allowed per Ocean Lakes, check the Ocean Lakes site).
No smoking inside the home. Site number 1805 on Lovestone, about 20-25 houses/rows back from the beach, less than 5 minute golf cart ride to the ocean (golf cart is NOT included, but you can rent a cart from Ocean Lakes). PARKING passes are NOT included, parking is $10 PER day PER car is paid to Ocean Lakes on day of check in, unless you arrange for Express or pre-paid parking 30 days in advance of your stay in writing with the OWNER's signature.

Cozy little house

We were only in for a few days to visit family, there were only 4 of us so this was just the right size for my sister, two of her grandsons and myself. Clean and comfortable and situated in a more quiet part of the campground so it was more quiet in the evenings and not a lot of golf cart traffic.

Not what was expected.

Drove up and the mop and bucket was outside. Builders left door and wood up against the property. Grill was all rusty. Vines growing up along side of shed. She’s door lock broken and door left open. Grass was knee high and never cut for the week we were there. Inside kitchen, drawers were dirty and had to clean out and wipe out. Frig was not clean. Two drinking glasses. Not enough silver wear and kitchen utensils. Bedroom two had dog hair all over mattress it’s old and needs to be replaced. It sinks when you’re on it. No lock on door handle for this bedroom and will not stay closed. Bathroom door had no workable handle so it comes open so you have no privacy with a place that sleeps 7. Bath tub has no workable stopper. Living room lamp shade is broken and will not stay on lamp. Had to move a king size mattress from front bedroom to shed upon arrival. A lot of decorations was off the walls and laying around that we had to move to bring/ put our stuff in the rental. The couch is an old sleeper sofa that needs replacing. This was not the first time I stayed at ocean lakes. That will be the last I stay at This rental. Would not recommend this property to rent until things are fixed and undated. Under the kitchen sink is a junk site. I will say Kelly Thomas was very accessible and had the building crew remove the wood , door and etc.. promptly. Could not arrange to have grass cut while we were there. We enjoy Ocean Lakes but not the property .

Would love to go back

Property manager very responsive. We had a lengthy check in at the office of Ocean Lakes- crowded, they didn’t have us listed as a guest- but I called Kelly and she answered- and quickly called them, someone was parked at the property- again Kelly quick to respond and offer assistance. The property was very clean and we had a great time. Having the golf cart was great. We had a little trouble getting the door to close for cart and the coffee table is due for some repair. The house has a very nice layout and is cozy. The bathroom looked newly renovated- nice shower and clean. The campground guests and owners were very friendly and helpful. Kelly was very helpful and nice- happy to help if there is something that you need. We would love to stay again.

Disappointing Rental Property

This property is totally outdated and in need of a total remodel. The condition of the interior is broken and shabby. The appliances are outdated and difficult to operate. The furniture is worn and dirty. The mattresses are not dirty and completely unusable. Although work had been done to clean the interior, it is so outdated that it can only be cleaned to a low standard. There is no location in the property to sit and be comfortable. All this leads to the fact that this property is a horrible return on the rental cost paid. I have booked other similar properties at Ocean Lakes and this one does not even enter into the same realm of satisfaction. The dissatisfaction of what I had paid for the property was a constant negative to the week long vacation; I could not wait to leave. The property manager did a great job. I only contacted her when the golf cart stopped working a day and a half before leaving; there was no way she could remedy the problems. The owner should either do a complete remodel or take this property off the listings.
