Sea views and tranquility. Beautiful family house in the Andalucian mountains

The house has a wonderful open plan living/dining/kitchen area, four bedrooms, two en-suite bathrooms and a further bathroom. The main bedroom has a super-kingsized bed, the other bedrooms have zip and link beds which can either be used as twins or a super-kingsized double. Each of these has an extra bed underneath to sleep and additional person. There is a large sofa bed in the living room for additional capacity if necessary. There is also a cloakroom with WC and basin in the hallway.
The kitchen has large fridge/freezer with ice and cold water dispenser, another fridge for bottles and drinks, a five ring gas hob with extractor, electric oven and combination electric microwave, dishwasher and washing machine with integral dryer. The kitchen opens into a utility room which contains the washing machine with integral dryer as well as an additional sink and cupboards containing mood, buckets and brooms as well as a Hoover. The iron and ironing board are also in there. This opens onto a rear courtyard which has lines for drying clothes.
There is a large terrace from the living area with spectacular views over the open countryside and out to sea. It has a large corner sofa with armchair and footstool/coffee table as well as a dining table and 8 chairs and 2 sun loungers. If extra seating is required for dining there are 2x footstools.
You should find the kitchen well equipped and well stocked with all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc that you will need. There are also well-stocked cupboards: olive oil, balsamic, salt, spices etc., washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing gel, cleaning supplies.
There is a kettle and toaster and plenty of tea, coffee and sugar. There is a dining table which extends to seat 12 guests and 12 chairs, some of which are kept in the bedrooms but can be brought down when needed.
There is an excellent computer set up in the living area with two screens and this is connected to the surround sound system. This can be used to play downloads or DVDs. The sound system can also be used with MP3 players, iPhone etc. There is no TV!
There is WIFI
There is an ample supply of linen, towels and bathrobes. These are all kept in the wardrobes of each bedroom and bathroom. If the beds are not made you will find single and superkingsized mattress protectors, sheets, duvets and pillowcases for each bed in the wardrobe and towels in the cupboards underneath the basins. Please make sure there is always a mattress protector on each bed. The coloured towels are for the pool and/or beach and the white towels are for in the house. Please do not use these for swimming or take them to the beach.
There is also a good supply of toiletries. Again, please replace what you use but it does mean you do not have to bring these out with you on the plane. The local Mercadonna has a good supply of most of the UK brands. There are hair dryers and heated towel rails in each of the bathrooms.

A fantastic villa with great views
We spent a very relaxing week here. The villa is superbly equipped with everything you would want and newly refurbished to a high specification. The views across the mountains and coast from the balcony are spectacular. The shared pool is just opposite the villa. If you like to spend your holiday in the hustle and bustle of a resort then this location is probably not for you, it is a 10-15 minute drive from the nearest town. Amanda the owner is very helpful and quick to respond to any queries.

I am a teacher who fell into the hospitality world in 1996. Having run a B&B business from our home for 3 years, we purchased Hempstead House in 1990 and converted it into a small Country House Hotel and 25 years later it has 34 bedrooms, a 60 cover restaurant, a 150 seater function suite and a spa. It has been very hard work over the years and I am now trying to take more time out of the business and enjoy my holiday properties. We have an apartment in Les Arcs where we spend most of the winter skiing and we purchased the house in Spain last year. It needed a lot of work doing to it and has been completely renovated, refurnished and made into our ideal home in the sun. We do not let either of the properties commercially as it is important to us to keep them maintained to a very high standard so that we can enjoy them ourselves. We live at the hotel in Sittingbourne, Kent where my partner and I still work full time when we are there.

We fell in love with this property because it is in such an amazing location and had the space for all our family. It was in a terrible condition when we bought it and we have completely redesigned and rebuilt it inside. It has every modern convenience that you could wish for along with many added luxuries that you would not expect to find in a rental property. The views are absolutely stunning and the village itself is quiet and peaceful. The communal swimming pool is literally just across the cobbled road and is hardly ever used by any other residents. The large terrace at the front looks over the unspoilt countryside and out to sea. It is furnished with sitting and dining furniture as well as sun loungers and we spend most of our time there because the weather is always so good. It also has a large awning to shade you from the sunshine when it is too hot. The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful and there are many places of interest to visit within an hour's drive. The beaches are just beautiful and there are many attractive walks through the mountains to local villages and towns. The coast is just a 10 minute drive away and there are many very reasonably priced beach bars within an easy drive where you can spend the afternoon enjoying the local ambiance.

The house is situated in a very quiet location but within easy reach of the coast and local towns. Marbella and Puerto Banus are only a 20 minute drive away and for anyone wishing to experience the hustle and bustle of the night life there, it is an easy taxi ride back. There are many Spanish markets where gifts made in the area and fresh local produce can be purchased and wonderful towns and villages to visit which are steeped in history and Spanish culture
