Facing towards the Cretan sea Villa Kalliston is designed to take advantage of the outstanding panoramic views to the sea and surrounding mountains from every angle. Located in an elevated position in a rural suburb of Rethymno, the villa is surrounded by nature and olive trees and also ensures full privacy to the guests, promising an unforgettable holiday experience. At the same time, its just 7,5 Km from Rethymno city and its long sandy beach and close to daily amenities, facilitating your every day needs.


The stunning 400 sq.m. property spreads in 2 levels and can accommodate 10 people in its 5 bedrooms and up to 12 people if needed. Its contemporary design and sturdy construction, fully renovated in 2023, is an extraordinary sample of modern architecture, perfectly blending with the landscape.


Ground Floor
Upon entering the villa on the ground floor, you will find a spacious open-plan area consisting of the living room, dining table, and kitchen. The living room features a large corner sofa and round sofa chair, a wooden coffee table, open fireplace and a 50" smart TV, as well as a second seating area with a small sofa and coffee table. Adjacent to this, a second seating area, featuring a cozy small sofa and a tasteful coffee table, and the indoor dining table await. Enhancing the allure of the room, both the dining and seating area graciously open up to reveal a splendid veranda, equipped with a comfortable outdoor living room, that provides access to the pool terrace after descending a few steps and enjoys beautiful views. The fully equipped kitchen boasts top-quality FRANKE appliances and a breakfast island with 8 chairs, providing all essentials for a self-catered holiday. Furthermore, a bedroom with a 1,60 X 2,00 bed and balcony access is also located on the ground floor, as well as a bathroom with a shower cabin.



First Floor
Reaching the first floor guests will find the remaining 4 bedrooms of Villa Kalliston. More specifically:
- The master bedroom featuring a 1,80 X 2,00 bed, 32 TV, safe and an en-suite bathroom with shower cabin. Also an armchair that unfolds to a single bed, can accommodate one more guest.
- A bedroom with a 1,60 X 2,00 bed, open closet and en-suite bathroom with shower. Also an armchair that unfolds to a single bed, can accommodate one more guest.
Both bedrooms offer access to a balcony enjoying beautiful sea views, overlooking the pool area and equipped with two seating areas.
- Two bedrooms with 2 single beds each (0,90X2,00), each one offering access to its own private balcony equipped with patio furniture.
- A bathroom with double sinks, bathtub, shower cabin and cabinet with enclosed washer and dryer.
Every bedroom is air-conditioned and thoughtfully furnished with a vanity, suitcase stand, and wardrobe. For your utmost comfort, we provide premium bed linen, soft baths, and pool towels, along with a selection of indulgent APIVITA complimentary amenities.

Outdoor area
However, the crown jewel of Villa Kalliston is its outdoor space, thats complemented by magnificent views of the sea and the surrounding area from almost every angle. The exterior covers 700 m2 and offers a plethora of facilities and spots for relaxation that will satisfy even the most demanding of guests. The outdoor area is beautifully landscaped and adorned with pots with herbs, trees, flowers and palm trees.


The outdoor facilities gracefully extend across two distinct areas, each offering its own allure. The rear part of the Villa features the hot tub, gym, playroom, outdoor playground, sport field and parking space for 3 cars inside the villa premises. In contrast, the front part boasts the private swimming pool and outdoor kitchen. In more detail:
- Indulge in ultimate relaxation in the 4-seater hot tub, complemented by two sun beds and plush bean bags for complete comfort.
- The playroom and gym space offers versatility, thanks to its accordion glass doors that open or close to suit your desires. The gym is equipped with a treadmill, elliptical machine, workout bench, free weights, exercise mats, TRX bands and yoga equipment -everything you need to maintain an invigorating workout routine. Stepping into the playroom, a world of entertainment unfolds before you offering a pool table, Bluetooth speaker, board games, small fridge and seating area. To complete the experience, a 65 smart TV, Playstation 5 and an array of cozy bean bag loungers are also available.
- Right outside the playroom, a life size chessboard, as well as an outdoor living room can also be found, a few steps away from the outdoor childrens playground. For the sports enthusiasts, an expansive sports field awaits, offering the freedom to engage in exhilarating matches of volleyball, basketball, or football.


From the rear part of the villa a pathway leads to the pool terrace. There guests may find:
- A 50 m2, free-shaped swimming pool with step access, 1,40m deep and counter-current system. The pool also features a shallow compartment for kids with a built-in seating area, which is also perfect for parents to enjoy a cold drink at night! The pool can also be heated at an additional daily charge (please note that the pool heating can be used for the entire stay and it requires at least one-weeks advance notice).
- The pool terrace offers 6 luxurious sun beds, 4 inviting bean bag loungers, several poofs, a delightful round day bed, umbrellas, an additional seating area, and a refreshing outdoor shower for your comfort.
- An additional seating area awaits, featuring a built-in cushioned sofa and a mesmerizing fire pit. This serene spot is surrounded by a small plunge pool, gracefully crafting a cascading waterfall at its edge.
- The outdoor, fully equipped kitchen also features accordion glass doors that offer the flexibility to open or close according to your preferences. This delightful space presents a well-appointed dining table, a Monolith charcoal grill, a Bluetooth speaker, and every essential tool you might need to effortlessly prepare a delightful meal by the pool. Additionally, a convenient WC for your comfort and convenience is also available.
