Villa di Leonardo is a historic villa from the 1500s. Its unique and unrivaled architecture stands on a hill overlooking the valley. His drawings are found in the codes of Leonardo da Vinci, who stayed in this valley to draw up the map. The villa was completely restored in 2011 to give all our guests the best comforts. The house is 1000 sq m wide and has a land of 13. 000 sq m. The rooms are large and spacious and the new and functional bathrooms, crystal showers and olive parquet make it luxurious and unique. Its large halls are embellished with tapestries, wall tears, valuable furniture. There are two kitchens equipped with every comfort, large fridge, large burners, dishwasher and any other necessary utensils. The house as well as having large and large rooms has large common areas to accommodate large groups and / or celebrations.
The wide external area rises on the valley to admire incomparable sunsets. The large porch is suitable for any event and ceremony or even just for a soccer or ping pong match. There are numerous games: billiards, multipurpose field (football, tennis, basketball, volleyball, archery, bowls etc).
Swings and carousels complete the games for the little ones.
The outdoor swimming pool is large and functional to welcome our guests. Numerous fireplaces and a barbecue await your barbecues.
It will be our pleasure and our care, if you wish, to prepare breakfasts, lunches and / or dinners for you and thus allow you to know the real Italian home cooking!
We will also let you experiment with our pizza cooked in the 1500's oven inside our cloister.
The position of the villa is strategic for visiting any place in the area. Our country borders Montepulciano and Pienza which can be reached in a matter of minutes. Wonderful are also San Quirico d 'Orcia and Montalcino. Siena can be reached in about 30 minutes, Florence in about 45 minutes and Rome in 1-30. We are very close to the A1 motorway (only 8 km) and a few km from the Siena-Perugia ring road.
If you feel like the sea then the most beautiful seaside resorts such as Castiglione della Pescaia, Punta Ala, etc. await you in about 1 hour and a half. Elba and aripelaghi are also worth a day visit.
We remain at your disposal also to organize horseback riding, airplane, ballooning by helicopter.
Tours in the cellars, tastings in the villa, wedding celebrations, communions, birthdays, corporate events, Renaissance dinners, etc ... you just have to ask! In our staff there is a cook from the Gambero Rosso circuit and a butler on request. We will organize everything for you in the smallest details and you will only have to enjoy the relaxation of a well-deserved vacation !!!! Our internal lounge with central fireplace exceeds 120 square meters and a large porch of over 130 square meters will welcome all the big events ... allowing any event even in bad weather. A few kilometers away is the town center where you can find every service, pharmacy, ATM, bank, bar, shopping centers, shopping outlets etc. There are countless small characteristic restaurants where you can taste one of the most renowned kitchens in the world!
