Com wi-fi, cozinha designer com electrodomésticos de qualidade, tais como máquina de lavar, geladeira, freezer, microondas, etc. localização muito central com todos os serviços, supermercados, cafés, lojas e restaurantes.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a multi-storey apartment building (lift access). There is no serviced lobby - access is secured by key. The building is a little tired and the lifts and corridors have a musty, stale smell. The apartment itself was fine due to the air conditioning.
The apartment is quite spacious. There are two bedrooms. We chose to use the back bedroom because while a little dark, it was away from the street noise which was intrusive at night in the front room. We found the bed very comfortable.
There is one bathroom which was a good size, with a ‘shower over bath’ arrangement - slippery entry and exit. However, it was clean and the shower worked well. The kitchen was very good but access a little awkward because of the heavy glass entry door that had to be closed to enable access to the fridge. All the expected appliances (including dishwasher and washing machine) were there and there was adequate bench space. Ample crockery and cutlery supplied as well as condiments, and cleaning products.
The WiFi internet connection worked well – reliable and good speed.
The apartment is on a major street almost across from the Mercat Central and right on the edge of the old town area. It is an excellent location which provides walking access to the marvelous old town area and all its plazas, restaurants and attractions.
We parked at an underground, public car park about 150 metres from the apartment - 15 Euros per day if pre-paid.
Our only issue was the initial check-in. The landlord had arranged her representative to meet us at the apartment but she was not there. We had to converse with her via email as she could not speak English and the landlord's phone was not answered. It took an hour before we eventually got into the apartment. The rep, a very pleasant woman, appeared the next day full of apologies and much useful information. If you intend to rent this apartment, then I suggest that you get a very concrete commitment to be met by someone that can speak your language. If driving, take your car direct to the car park before attempting to check-in as there is no legal parking on the street in front of the building.
Aside from check-in issues, the apartment was good, the location was great and we enjoyed our stay.
Situé dans le vieux Valence, l appartement est très bien agencé et très confortable. Un petit bé mol pour le manque d' ustensiles de cuisine et plats qui ne permettent pas de trop cuisiner . Par contre, à 2 pas du marché central et prés de tous les monuments historiques, nous avons pu visiter à pied et à notre rythme cette magnifique ville. De plus, nous avons pu pour un tarif peu élevé louer des vélos et visiter le bio parc, le parc océanographique, le musée des arts et des sciences accessibles par les jardins aménagés dans l ancien lit de rivière qui traverse toute la ville.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour tant par l appartement que la ville, ses plages ( propres et très grandes), sa restauration .
Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir
Love that Market!!!! Location is great (some nightlife but tolerable). Parking is provided by a third party for $15 a day.
