"I'm really satisfied with my stay in this apartment! It's a Haussmmanian building with a balcony , luminous, clean, and fully equipped with all that you might need in your stay in Paris
I come from Taiwan. Upon my arrival I was so touched by the rice cooker and chopsticks that Madame prepared for me. The famous bakery "le moulin de la vierge" is just located on the ground floor so you can wake up every morning with the smell of fresh baguettes, quel bonheur! Used to live nearby for a couple of years, I know it's such a convenient area. Located around the border of 7th and 15th arrondissements, it's definitely in the heart of Paris. The nearest metro stations are Segur (line 10: You can go directly by line 10 to Roland Garros, la Sorbonne (if you take French lessons there), St Germain des Prés, la rive gauche...); Sèvres Lecourbe (line 6: the viaduc metro, 3 stations to la Tour Eiffel) . The bus stations of 39(rue Montorgueil), 70 (hôtel de ville/ le Marais) , 89( Montparnasse, Panthéon) are not far away. You can also take a walk to the Champs de Mars and Invalides in less than 10 mins. Ever since the first time I contacted the landlords, I got their kind replies immediately every time."
I loved this apartment! It was clean and well located for where I wanted to be. I have stayed in apartments in Paris before and know they are small, but this one seemed quite spacious, and has the luxury of a separate bedroom.
I was met by the owner's mother and, while she didn't speak a lot of English, we had fun trying to translate, and I was able to understand all the information about the property.
The organization of the apartment was excellent, and there were extras, like coffee and tea, that were much appreciated.
There are two metro lines close to the apartment, which made it easy to get anywhere fairly easily, and I was within a ten-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, Rue Cler, and a Monoprix. Also, there was a Monop' and several bakeries near the apartment.
I do not hesitate to recommend this property, and hope to return there some day.
We had an overall nice stay at this apartment. The price was incredibly good compared to other options. It was a great location, within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and had 2 metro stops close by. We enjoyed having the 2 separate rooms. It was mostly clean, but we had to buy toilet paper during our first day there, as there was only a partly used roll left. Also, the wi-fi was not working, even though it's listed as an amenity for this apartment.
Alida met us at the apartment and was very nice, but did not speak much English. Thankfully we knew some French and body language to get most of the details we needed, but it was a bit frustrating because it did keep us from being able to ask all the questions we would have liked upon arrival. It also made it more difficult to feel very comfortable during our first day, without being able to communicate well regarding the apartment. We expected the person meeting us to be able to speak English, since it is listed as a language spoken on their listing & through email communication it was made clear we were from the U.S. and speak English, and very little French. So it caught us off-guard when she could not.
It was a nice apartment to have as a base, however, and the boulangerie at the street level of the building was incredibly delicious! Overall we would recommend it, as the price is great and the location is good as well.
My three week stay was great. The apartment is small but more than adequate for one or two people, clean and well equipped. There are two metro stations and buses a few minutes walk away and a variety of shops and restaurants nearby. The proprietor's mother was delightful and very helpful.
I have no hesitation in recommending the apartment and will certainly return there.
