Feel at home in the middle of Rome!
Centrally located and walking distance to almost everything you'd want to see over the course of a few days in Rome. The neighborhood is pretty active and your windows over the piazza pick up on the sounds of the wonderful pedestrian traffic just below. The smell of the nearby bakery is absolutely magical first thing in the morning.
The listing notes the presence of air conditioning, but I'd caution timing your stay with cooler weather, if you plan to spend any significant time in Rome and use this location as your base. The floor mounted unit will struggle to keep you cool in the peak heat of the day (during siesta), but seems to do fine overnight for the space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you'd need to prepare a meal, but with so many nearby choices of world-class offerings, we chose to eat out every day instead! Parking was not an issue for us, but if you do drive, I'd find a parking location and leave the car there, while using public transport or taxi to get around during your stay.
The high speed rail station is a short bus ride or taxi away and you can visit Pisa, Venice or Florence with relative ease.
Contacting and dealing with Emmanuella is a pleasure! She even left a cake and some cookies for us at arrival! She met us instantly and gave us specific instructions. Pre-printed documents in English made us immediately familiar with the location and we took advantage of it from the instant we arrived.
Adorable apartment near the heart of Rome
The apartment has everything you'll need for a lovely holiday in Rome. The owner is responsive, thoughtful, and fun, and she even provides welcome-to-Rome advice and informational packets for tourists staying here. The apartment is in a lively neighborhood with good access to the bus lines, and if you're up for a walk you can even stroll over to dozens of famous Roman sites, from the Pantheon (10 minutes away) to the Colosseum (25 minutes away) to countless fun downtown destinations for dining and shopping. I would definitely recommend this place!
Thanks for the nice review ....
It is very gratifying that our work to put our guests at ease, both for the stay in our apartment and for facilitating their holidays, is appreciated.
Especially from the people who leave the place where they stayed, as if it were their home ...
What a great place!
This was my third trip to Rome, all in re talk apartments. This one is terrific!
The host was great, at the apartment on arrival. She showed us the apartment, gave us local recommendations, was very helpful in finding the location. With travels from FCO.
The apartment is cozy for two people, well-appointed, clean, and comfortable.
The location, in the Jewish Quarter is convenient to the major sites in Rome and a short distance to the Vatican and Trastevere.
Definitely a place I will book again on a return trip.
As always we are very happy when our guests issue a favorable review:
all, without distinction, consider them potential friends and therefore treat them as friends hoping (as often happens) that this is the case for them too.
Unfortunately we cannot always say goodbye to them when they go away and therefore, even if we ask, we cannot know their impressions, until they release a review.
Much we understand, however, how they leave the apartment: almost always perfect (as in the case of Barry) and this is already a symbol of appreciation for us.
Thanks for everything
Great location in the heart of Rome
Okay, two things here. It's a lovely apartment in central Rome with cake shops, gelaterias, restaurants etc at your doorstep, (with the Portico of Octavia at the end of the street), and just a 5 minute walk from the Campo d'Fiori. (Does mean it can be a bit noisy, so use the earplugs provided if necessary - it's worth it).
Even better though is your host, Emanuela. Just so friendly, helpful and welcoming. And listen to her advice when it comes to places to eat etc. She takes the time to sit down with you and point out places near and further away.
I highly recommend her and this apartment. I will certainly stay here if I am ever back in Rome.
We thank Garth for his testimony and we are happy that our efforts to make our stay in Rome pleasant in our apartment are useful
(even a little attention like that of the plugs for any noise during the night is important for us ....).
Even the thought of being able to return, as our guests often write, fills us with satisfaction!
Best Choice Ever
We absolutely love our 4 nights here! To start, Emanuela is such a great communicator and met us late at night as our plane was delayed, in which we were most grateful. The neighborhood is charming and the apartment homey. If you want to experience an authentic experience in Rome this is the place. We enjoyed the sounds of kids playing in the streets, restaurants, music, talking etc. Everything is walking distance as we walked to all the major sites (google maps a lifesaver). If we return to Rome we would for sure stay here again!
We try to take great care of our guests (we also travel and therefore we are pleased to have attention from those who are hosting us!)
It doesn't matter to us if guests arrive very late: we always want to welcome them personally so that they immediately feel like their home!
Thanks for this nice review!
