David and Claudine welcomed us to their gite, after coming to find us as we got a little lost. The gite is well equipped, stylishly decorated and comfortable. The location is very quiet and excellent location for some star gazing. You can walk to the Overload Museum and American cemetery. We took a drive to the beach but you could walk if you wanted to. Several other Omaha museums are within a very short drive. We had a welcome bottle of David's home produced cider which was delicious. We were left to enjoy the tranquility of the gite but with knowledge that David or Claudine were close by if we needed anything. Overall a most enjoyable stay in Normandy.

La location du gîte l'épervier a été un très bonne expérience. Le gîte est spacieux, propre et très bien équipé. Les propriétaires charmants mais nous ont laissé vivre nos vacances tranquillement. Un gîte à recommandé pour qui recherche calme, quiétude et paysage de carte postale.

Un bon cidre pour accompagner le tout et vous passer d'excellentes vacances.

I'd thoroughly recommend this property for a couple, or small family, who would like to explore Normandy. The D-Day Beaches, wonderful gardens, towns, cities and of course the stunning beaches, are all within easy travelling distance. The gite itself is well equipped and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The outside space is vast and private, and is a beautiful tranquil place to sit and enjoy. The spiral staircase was an initial concern of ours since the twin bedroom is accessed via it, and it's on a different floor to the double bedroom and rest of the property (all on the ground level). Our 3 &3/4 year old was very careful so everything was ok. The gite is very close to Omaha beach which is a stunning place. The owners were very friendly, responsive and helpful when we needed anything. The icing on the cake was the boulangerie which delivered to the door 6 days a week :-)

I would whole heartedly recommend staying here.

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Toller Garten und tolle Ausstattung. Sehr freundlicher, zuverlässiger und schneller Kontakt. Jede Frage wurde schnell und zufriedenstellend beantwortet. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das relativ langsame Internet, aber das ist im Urlaub zu verkraften.
