Escape to what is one of the most magical vacation destinations on the planet. Enjoy our beautiful beach house with partial ocean views, tropical gardens, spacious kitchen, in an exquisite neighbourhood and within steps to a white powdery sand beach.

Our cozy beach house is decorated with tropical accents and enhanced with large windows, central air and nice furnishings.

There are two spacious bedrooms with king size beds, pillow top mattresses made up with fine linens, pillows and duvet. Both bedrooms have full size ensuite bathrooms with plush towels and bath robes.

Relax and unwind in the living room on our bonded leather sofa, love seat, ottoman, and decorative chairs.

The full size kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher and small appliances. Dine and socialize at the large breakfast bar.

Lounge on the patio furniture while enjoying the outdoors in a private setting surrounded by tropical gardens that celebrate local materials, native trees and plants.

Create your favourite meal on the large stainless steel bbq and dine at the table on the back deck.

Other feature amenities include a Samsung 50" smart tv, stackable washer/dryer set, Fiber Optic High Speed WIFI, island cell phone, cable and a private enclosed outdoor shower with warm /cold water.

Beach items available: snorkel sets, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach tent and portable hard and soft coolers.

Travelling with children

We just got back from our week long stay at Canuck Palms with our two kids aged 2 1/2 years and 7 months. The accommodations were spotless on arrival and it was stocked with all the equipment you need to enjoy your vacation (including many supplies for kids!). It was great to have access to both a pack n’play and high chair which meant less packing for us and we were pleasantly surprised to also find children’s beach toys and books! The beach was a short walk from the house (not suitable terrain for a stroller but it was so close we didn’t need one) and we often had it completely to ourselves. During our stay the water at the beach was a bit rough and not suitable for swimming with small children but we enjoyed playing in the sand and watching the waves. The house was conveniently located (15-20 min drive) to tons of amazing beaches with shallow calm water for swimming. There were many options close by for food, groceries and gas! We felt very safe in the area and were surrounded by friendly neighbours but had tons of privacy on the property itself. Brett and Heather were EXTREMELY responsive both leading up with the trip and during our stay (they usually responded in under 5 mins!). We did lose power quite a few times during our stay (often for about 30 mins, sometimes longer) and they were quick to keep us updated. This is something to consider when travelling with kids who are on a meal/nap schedule. This is truly a turn key vacation spot and we can’t wait to return!

Great Stay at Canuck Palms

The house was very clean and neat and had a great Bahamas vibe. The check-in process was super easy and communication with the owners was very clear and precise. We enjoyed the easy and short walk to what felt like our own private beach and spent a lot of time there.

Excellent Home

Brett and Heather were very responsive to any follow-up questions we had. The check-in process was very easy. The home is exactly as the photos depict. Spotlessly clean, bright, large rooms, cozy beds. They have thought of almost anything someone may need. You could literally come here without packing anything and have what you need. They have set the bar very high for other VRBO properties. We have stayed three different places in Exuma and by far this has been the best property. Very close to a quiet beach with a scenic walk. When we come back we will certainly choose Canuck Palms. We cannot recommend their home enough. Thank you so much Brett and Heather. Your home helped make an already perfect island vacation that much better.

Our home is centrally located in a neighbourhood of exquisite homes and within a short drive from the airport. Our property is surrounded with mature palms trees, lush tropical gardens and a manicured lawn. Listen to the ocean waves and take a short walk to the gorgeous beach.

Our two bedroom, two bathroom bungalow boasts modern touches with added tropical decor accents to give you that "beach house feel". We have recently updated our furnishings, appliances, ceiling fans, lighting and central air conditioning. The spacious bedrooms with king beds are made up with fine linens to give you the rest you desire. Both full-size bathrooms have a tub/shower combo or you can feel refreshed showering in the enclosed outdoor shower. Our kitchen has a beautiful wooden breakfast bar and new appliances to cook your meals . BBQ your steak, hamburger or "catch of the day" on the back deck while watching the sunset.

We do suggest a car rental to experience the complete Bahamian Out-Island culture, restaurants, beach bars, snorkelling, fishing and the most exhilarating white powdery sand beaches and sand bars.

Beach items available: snorkel sets, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach tent and portable soft cooler.

For the golf enthusiast, head to the Greg Norman PGA Championship Golf Course a short drive away. A water-taxi ride will take you to the famous "Chat N Chill" beach bar to play volleyball and pet the sting rays!
