Great spot, great location, noisy pipes
Great location, clean, and had everything we needed! Check in/out process was super easy. Would stay again! That being said, pipes in the back bedroom were very loud. I’m a heavy sleeper so it was fine but my sister ended up sleeping upstairs on the couch one night. My parents slept in the front bedroom and slept fine, not as noisy in that room.

Great location in Beacon Hill
Everything was just as described - great location, cozy, well furnished, lots of room for our party of 4. The knocking/tapping noise from the pipes was loud and kept us up at night, so we had to buy ear plugs - but other than that, we enjoyed our stay!

Great stay on Beacon Hill
Cute historic property in Beacon Hill. Finding the entrance was a little tricky. It looks like an alley but it’s a street. It’s conveniently located near good, stores and activities and the owners were very attentive to questions. It was a great little get away.

Pontos positivos: Limpeza, check-in e localização
Pontos negativos: Comunicação
Good location.
Upon arrival the property seemed great. Great location, clean, and well furnished. Problem 1: Bedrooms were at the bottom of a spiral staircase and taking suitcases up and down that staircase was difficult; beyond my wife's capabilities! Problem 2: The TV stations were very limited so on our first night we had to go to a pub to watch the ALCS baseball game. The host suggested going to a pub. Problem 3: On the second day we started having real problems. We were in and out of the property multiple times and we realized on one return the lights in the entry foyer weren't working; we had to use our phone flashlights to be able to see to put the key in the lock. And the overhead light in the room at the bottom of the spiral staircase had quit working. We brushed off these lighting issues until later when serious problems started. Problem 4: At 11:30pm we went to take showers, NO HOT WATER and NO HEAT!! Host was unavailable that late so we went to bed. In the morning of day 3 there was still no hot water and no heat. I set the thermostat at 73° F but the temp. was down to 68°F and the baseboard heaters were cold. Host got back to us and said she had contacted building management. At @ 9am the host contacted me and asked me to open the door for the electric guys who were out front. At 3:30pm there was still no heat nor hot water so we made plans to vacate the property after returning from a scheduled dinner. Host is refusing to compensate us for the lack of these essential amenities

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

The advantage of living in Beacon Hill as opposed to all other Boston neighborhoods is that if you enjoy walking you will be somewhere interesting and entertaining, in seconds with out having to take the train (the T). The T, by the way is also steps away from the condo and not just one line, but many lines ( the Red Line to Cambridge, The Green line, the Blue Line to the Airport, the Orange line and Commuter rails in nearby North Station which can transport you to many suburban destination. Or, simply walking around the beautiful Beacon Hill neighborhood from the condo. Five minutes a way walking, visit the waterfront, Quincy Market and Fanueil Hall and the Aquarium, or a little further up the Museum of Science at the End of the Charles River. There is no better neighborhood to stay in Boston.
