This totally remodeled cabin offers 4 bedrooms, 2 double up and 1 queen and 1 double down with a full bath on each floor. A newly added loft with skylight looks out over the great room and natural wood fireplace. Complete with private pier, you can sun, read, take in the serene sense of nature or explore 550 acre Boulder Lake on your own boat or our pontoon which is for rent. Brand new appliances and fully equipped kitchen make you feel right at home. Hike to a waterfall 1.5 miles away or a warm sandy bottom 50 acre lake perfect for swimming. Drive 3 miles to the lovely town of Boulder Junction with its restaurants and shops. Peek into the freezer outside the Bait store to see the biggest fished pulled out of area lakes.

Cozy retreat

This home was very close to the bike trail and just a few miles from Boulder Junction, so the location was perfect. The house was cozy, clean and comfortable in a lovely setting. Please note that you need to bring towels and confirm the check-in process since we got two versions of it. The owner/property manager was most gracious and texted back quickly to answer questions.

Cozy north woods lake cabin

Four "mature" adult siblings used this site for a weekend family gathering in the area. The cabin was comfortable, clean and well furnished; the beds were very comfortable. The setting of the cabin on a wooded lot overlooking the lake was beautiful, especially as it was peak leaf season. The only minor hiccup was the fact that personal bath towels were not included in the linens provided. This information was not noted on the VRBO site but was included in the welcoming email received a day prior to our arrival under Use of Amenities. Unfortunately it was not seen until after we arrived. We managed and enjoyed our stay. The host was very responsive and helpful - much appreciated!

River Delight

Great, accommodating host and delightful cabin. Small glitches were easily overcome and we had a splendid stay. Nearby Boulder Junction has always been a delightful place to visit.

Nice spot

Nice spacious house with four bedrooms. Lots of different hang-out zones. Perfect for a group of friends.

Very nice accomodations

The cabin was nice and clean. Adequately furnished except needed bath towels. Beautiful setting! Nice quiet spot on the water, very peaceful. Enjoyed kayaking and biking the beautiful bike trails! Would love to get this property again for next year.

I live in Southeastern Wisconsin and am a small business owner. I get away every chance I can to make the 4 hour drive to my lovely cabin. It seems to be the place I feel most at home. I know you will too.

My family and I vacationed together 2 weeks every August for 35 years in this same cabin. When it came up for sale, we couldn't bare the thought of not going back so my brother and I bought it! We had other families that felt the same about this place and it's beautiful surroundings so we've been renting to them ever since. Last year (2014) we did a total remodel including all appliances and the addition of a full bath upstairs and loft.

Watch the deer pace through the property from almost any direction. Walk down the .5 mile blacktop road whenever you have a few extra minutes. Or take your coffee down to the pier around 8:30am, and wait for the bald eagle that loves to cruise by...sometimes landing in a tree and staying for hours.
