Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Rome. Claudio est très accueillant. L'appartement est très bien situé en plein coeur du centre historique de Rome, à proximité à pied de toutes les visites. A recommander.
Gracias.
This apartment is within walking distance to pretty much everything there is to see in Rome. It was very reasonably priced, nice and clean, and in a fairly touristy part of town, so I felt very safe staying there. Multiple shops and restaurants start right outside the door, and the Pantheon is just two blocks away. However, even on a weekend night it was nice and quiet.
There's a grocery store two blocks away, and a bus stop right around the corner, which can get you to Termini station in about 10 minutes and lots of other places as well. So, between walking and the bus stop, you can get literally anywhere you need to be in Rome from this apartment with very little effort, which includes going to and from the airport.
I really can't think of anything bad to say about this place. You can clearly tell by the pictures and description, but just be aware that if you are staying here with other people the bedrooms are wide open so you don't really have much privacy. Also, this apartment is on the second floor, and the staircase going up is very old and worn, so be extra careful when coming home after a few drinks, or if it's raining and the stairs are wet.
If I ever go back to Rome, I will definitely be staying in this apartment again. Hopefully Francesco will be renting it out for a long long time.
There couldn't be a more perfect location for our stay in Rome. Great restaurants right outside your door, two large plazas with street musicians playing nightly, one of the main pedestrian walkways right outside your door with all shops. etc, etc. The apartment was perfect size so everyone had a very roomy bed to sleep for our extended stay in Rome, especially if your are an American that isn't used to the typical Rome hotel room size. Air conditioning and wifi worked great for the whole stay. As mentioned by others the stairs up to the 2nd floor are a bit challenging so beware if this would be an issue and the water pressure is low, but we hardly noticed these with everything else so good. If you are driving around Italy, like we did, you can only enter Rome city center by car during specific times and this location is not directly accessible by car. However, we got close enough on the way in and took the bus back to the car when we left. The owner was helpful and very responsive.
