Terrific apartment

My wife and I and teenaged daughter stayed here in late March/early April 2017. This is a modern apartment in a terrific location, right on one of the main shopping streets (pedestrian-only) but insulated from any street noise. Stunning, huge master bath with lots of hot water in shower, and a large jacuzzi tub our teenager loved. Modern kitchen which we hardly used because of the wonderful eating experiences right outside. Gigi is very responsive by email to arrange the apartment and when a minor issue arose, she fixed it immediately. She speaks and writes English very well and provides a booklet with very helpful maps, suggestions, and instructions for the apartment. Supermarket a few blocks away. Three metro stops within 3-5 minutes, but it is only a 20-minute walk down pedestrian avenues to center of Old Town. Seven minutes to

Gran Via. One floor up with security door at street level. We loved this and would stay here again. A wonderful value.

Everything we had expected!

From the moment we booked the property, Gigi was very responsive and helped us out with shuttle service, very recomendable too, activities and tour organizations. It was already a joy!

In the moment we entered the apartment, we were amazed with the lovely and detailed decoration the house has. We realized that the house is in total silence, compared to the bustling road of Fuencarral, which is full of restaurants, cafes and shops. We loved Orio and Elcano, just 2 minutes away.

It was perfect for us 5, everything worked perfectly, towels were top quality, like the ones given in hotels. We loved that she provided shampoo and hairdryer, it's always a hustle to carry that on! Beds were comfy, stunning bathroom, and perfect location!

I totally recommend this apartment.

We will be back!

WOW! Spectacular Apartment at a Great Price

My friends and I stayed at this beautiful apartment on Calle Fuencarral while in Madrid for 4 days. I could not possibly include all of the positives that come with this lovely home in one review alone.

First, Gisela (Gigi) called us while we were en route, in order to make sure that everything was ok (we were quite late). She assured us over the phone that she would do whatever it took to make our stay a happy experience.

When we arrived, we were astounded by the spaciousness and how well decorated the apartment was. There were comprehensive, simple to follow instructions on how to operate the appliances, internet, etc. She even provided us with a guide to our neighborhood, Madrid in general and other nearby cities. The guide included local tourist sites with prices, walking maps, the best tapas bars and much more. Even the electrical outlets and the appliances had labels on them to instruct us on their use.

The main bedroom was well appointed and spacious. It was very comfortable while dressing, packing and unpacking. There is plenty of closet space. The bathroom came with a hot tub as well as a shower and dual sinks. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept soundly every night.

We ate out every night, but the kitchen had everything we needed if we had wanted to cook a complete meal. In fact, we snacked on ham, cheese and bread every afternoon to carry us through until the restaurants opened again.

The living room had a big screen TV, a nice stereo and 3 couches (one of which pulled out to a bed). We could have hosted a party for 10 to 15 people easily and comfortably.

The apartment is located in a great neighborhood that just buzzes with life. It's a short walk to Gran Via, Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Prado. The atmosphere is electric and there are plenty of places to go to eat, drink, shop, etc. However, we never heard a sound from the street once we were inside.

There is a taxi stand on the same corner, so transportation to the train station was easy to obtain when we left. Gigi even said that she could arrange airport transportation upon request.

This woman is a customer service pro, no doubt about it. She was a big part of why our stay in Madrid was so wonderful and memorable. If and when I return to Madrid, she will be the first person I call.

Perfect Madrid Apartment

My husband, daughter and I recently spent an all too short 3 nights in this great apartment. On this trip to Spain, we also stayed in apartments in Seville and Granada, but this one was the most well appointed and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the three couches in the living room, giving us plenty of room to relax there together. The location is perfect, right at the end of a pedestrian-only shopping street which you can look out onto. The windows seal any noise completely, and the bedrooms are in the back where it is perfectly quiet. You can walk to Gran Via metro in less than a minute or on down to Puerta del Sol in a couple of minutes more. Giselle, the contact person, is very responsive to any question or need. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others without reservation.

Updated apartment in perfect location

We were thrilled as soon as we entered Gisela's apartment. The entire apartment had been renovated and included all the amenities we could have asked for. The master bedroom is large with an enormous bathroom and dressing area. The bathroom included a separate Jacuzzi, shower and toilet area with double sink. The dressing area had built in closets with a safe. There was more space than we could use and as it is located at the back of the apartment, it is extremely quiet and dark making sleeping a pleasure. The updated kitchen was perfect with a large kitchen table for family meals. The living room was also large and included three couches and a huge tv. The second bathroom was extremely small but also updated. The second bedroom had a double sized bed that is most comfortable for one person. The only flaw is the futon in the living room. The mattress is hard and not very comfortable for sleeping. The apartment is located on a busy street with shops all around. It was a perfect location with a distance of approximately 20 minutes for most of the attractions of Madrid.
