Luz maravilhosa e arejado apartamento de 2 quartos no Old Town (Vieux Nice).

Nosso apartamento fica no segundo andar de um edifício Nicois típico em Rue François Zanin, um tranquilo, mas grande rua de pedestres na esquina (literalmente!) dos mercados fabulosos, lojas, bares e restaurantes da cidade velha e menos de 10 minutos a pé da praia e do porto. Também é apenas um par de minutos a pé do autocarro e eléctrico pára em excelente sistema de transporte público de Nice, que oferece excelentes serviços para o aeroporto (20 minutos) e as muitas atrações em Nice e na área mais ampla.

O apartamento dispõe de uma grande (5m x 4m) double-janela da sala de estar com área de jantar, uma cozinha moderna de estilo americano, 2 quartos (um com cama de casal e um guarda-roupa, o outro com duas camas de solteiro) e um quarto moderno / chuveiro WC.

A Cidade Velha de Nice é um dos de Euope "jóias" - os edifícios históricos e ruas pedonais são preenchidos com a atmosfera do local, mercados, restaurantes e cafés de rua que você pode desfrutar ou passear, de dia ou de noite, relaxado e seguro. Não se deixe levar pelo reputação da cidade como um playground para os ricos - a proximidade da praia e do ônibus e bondes pára (prestação de serviços e não apenas para as atrações locais, mas também para Mônaco, Cannes, etc) e da miríade de muito razoavelmente restaurantes e cafés com preços significa que você pode ter apenas tão divertido em um orçamento apertado!

Great apartment in a perfect location.

We loved staying in Iain's apartment. We were exactly where we wanted to be in Nice - the heart of the Old Town but in a little back street so noise was never an issue. We were in walking distance of everything we needed on a day to day basis (the sea, shops, bars, restaurants) and a short tram ride away from the train station when we wanted to go further afield (Antibes, Cannes etc). The apartment was clean and exactly as described - we had everything we needed for a family of four. Iain was exceedingly good to communicate with and the lady who met us, Samira, was lovely and very helpful. We would highly recommend. Thank you for a great holiday!

Lovely apartment with everything we needed in a great location. Iain always replied very promptly - from initial enquiry through to during and even after our stay. The apartment has a good sized living / dining area and the decent kitchen has all the essentials. The two bedrooms are a decent size too, and the apartment even had a few beach mats and blow up beds available. The bathroom and washing machine all worked well. The apartment is in a super location - in a quiet street but just a few steps and you're into the buzz of a busier part of the old town. There are a few supermarkets less than 5 mins walk away (we found the larger monoprix the best of these). The park which is less than 5 mins walk away has so much to offer - a safe space for the kids to play, water fountains springing up from the pavement and climbing frames etc as well as free evening concerts during one of our weeks. The beach (Castel Plage) is less than 10 mins walk away and even in July has plenty of space for the family to base themselves at the end of the beach, on the (free) public part where the kids could jump off the rocks & swim with the fish. The apartment does not have air con but there are fans and the temperature in the apt in July is fine since the tall old buildings of the old town offer sufficient shade. The apartment is also well situated to visit the port where you can also catch the bus to Monaco and just a few mins walk uphill from the apartment is the beautiful parc de la Colline du château. Overall Iain's apartment has all a family could need (with good wifi, tv & DVD player too), in a great location with really prompt & friendly communication. Thanks for helping us have a super 2 weeks in Nice Iain.

Excellent apartment

An excellent apartment in a fabulous location with everything you could possibly want within walking distance, restaurants, bars and shops also a short walk to the sea front.

The owner Iain is extremely friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend this apartment.

Great apartment in a great location!

Me, my wife and our adult daughter stayed for a long weekend, well virtually a week in all. Our primary purpose for being in Nice was to attend the F1 in Monaco but we wanted somewhere nice to be for the days either side of the weekend as it was a special trip in our 30th anniversary year. I don't think we could have done better!

The old part of Nice is full of life and character and the apartment is in the heart of it all. With easy access to trams, buses and the railway station our trips into Monaco were easy and our time in Nice was thoroughly enjoyable. Plenty of shops and stalls to browse and completely spoiled for choice when it came to eating and drinking.

Overall we had a fantastic time and we very much appreciated the flexibility of the owners who allowed us to stay over a weekend from mid-week to mid-week.

Would recommend and would stay again!

Excellent location

We spent one week in the beautiful old town of Nice. The apartment is in a superb location for exploring all of Nice and is equipped with everything one would need. The owner Iain is extremely helpful and makes the entire process of booking etc completely stress free . We hope to return.

We loved this property, what a fantasic stay!

This propety is very comfortable and worked very well for the four adults in our party. It is well maintained and very functional. The atomsphere is perfect for a stay in Old Nice. The location could not be better. If you like to cook, the ingrdients for anything you could think to make are just steps away. There are three butcher shops; several cheese and sausage shops; two spice shops and a daily fresh fish market in the plaza about a block away. For produce go to the daily market, a 10 to 15 minute walk. You will be amazed! As for restaurants. Probably the best restaurant in Old Nice is on the first floor of the building. It is owned by the Alziari family who are very gracious and we ate there at least five times. The two other resaurants that can be seen from the apartment windows, are also excellent. There are many restaurants in Old Nice and we never had a bad meal. The only issue we had with the area is being awakened by the wonderful smell of the restaurants preparing their stocks and other prep cooking for the day's offerings. It is amazing. The beach is only a 15 minute walk away as well. Iain, the property owner, is extremey easy to work with and was very helpful to us in answering any questions we had. Another perk to this apartment is having a dish washer and clothes washer. There is a dryer, as well, but we opted for hanging our clothes out to dry on the lines prodived out the windows, just like the locals. I highly recommend this property and would certainly rent it again should I return to Nice in the future.

Nosso apartamento está situado numa rua pedonal tranquila, mas larga apenas na esquina (literalmente!) dos mercados fabulosos, lojas, bares e restaurantes da cidade velha e menos de 10 minutos a pé da praia e do porto. Também é apenas um par de minutos do paradas no excelente sistema de ônibus e bonde é bom que oferecem excelentes serviços para o aeroporto (20 minutos) e as muitas atracções de Nice e de toda a região.

We ask for a £150 (200 euro) returnable security deposit which will be returned to you within a few days of your departure once our local agent has confirmed no breakages or damage.
