Comfortable and very well equipped

Thank you Michel!

Your apartment was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults and 4 children (2 x 7-year-olds and 2 x 15-year- olds) and was as described in the detailed description. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable and the temperature in the flat was always perfect with plenty of hot water.

There was plenty of room for relaxing in the evening and the kitchen is very well equipped.

Having 3 separate bathrooms was great, giving everyone a bit of privacy and meant getting all the kids out in the morning for early lessons was so easy!

The location is perfect: just a short walk to the recommended SkiSet hire shop and a little further on to the first lifts. All the shops are so close, so popping out in the morning for fresh croissants was part of our daily routine!

Excellent communication from Michel, the delightful owner, before we left the UK and, once in Tignes, it was so easy to meet the lovely Fanny to get the keys.

I would recommend the property to parties of all ages. The layout of the rooms was perfect for us, as the 2 teenagers were able to have a bunk room to themselves where they chilled in the evening taking full advantage of the free Wi-Fi. The adults then shared with their younger children - a 4-bed bunk room, and a double room with single.

Our party was a mixture of beginner skiers, 2 teen snowboarders and 4 adults of varying ability: there were plenty of pistes to suit all our abilities and as the resort is so high there was no lack of snow! Pistes all well maintained too and no long queues for lifts. The kids did ESF lessons and they were well looked after and made great progress.

We did venture out in the evenings for drinks in some of the local bars, and all the recommendations from Michel were spot on - particularly the Fondue restaurant.

We will definitely be back!

sejour agréable dans appartement agréable très bien équipé , sans mauvaise surprise

Nous avons séjourné une semaine en avril 2016 dans cet appartement : bonne situation à proximité de la supérette , du garage couvert , du parking de la gare routière pour décharger les voitures et à 5 mn à pieds des pistes

L'appartement est conforme aux description et photos ; nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'équipement plus que complet au niveau vaisselle et batterie de cuisine , appareil à raclette et fondue , linge , matériel et produits d'entretien et " service entretien " à la fin du séjour . Très appréciable aussi de trouver des produits d'épicerie dans les placards(sel, pates.huile...). en cas d'oubli de notre part à l'arrivée .

Nous avons aussi profité des conseils avisés du propriétaire pour faire les achats de viandes et fromages avant d'arriver à Tignes

Le casier à skis dans l'entrée du bâtiment facilite la vie . L'ouverture des portes par code procure sécurité .

Nous recommandons donc cette location et espérons y retourner .

owner failed to return deposit

stayed for a week and had a lovely time. the rep didn't show us to the apt as promised but eventually found it. left the apartment clean and tidy as required. unfortunately a cabinet door hinge came loose on the last evening and fell off(poor maintenance). it wasn't broken so we removed the lower hinge and phoned the rep, leaving a message when there was no reply. we left early so returned keys, sheets etc as instructed. when I wrote to thank the owner I was shocked to be told my deposit was to be docked significantly! I have rented apartments through this site and others for over 10 years and never had this problem before.

Resposta do proprietário: We have different standards of tidyness with this vistor. As a rule, we arrange and pay for the cleaning upon departure, but charge a standard penalty if the visitor leaves the place untidy. We call untidy when visitors leave the waste bins full and their dirty underwear scattered around. Fortunately that happened only once this season. Most visitors appreciate the charm of the apartment of which they take a good care.

Perfect Apartment Near Ski Lifts, Shops and Restaurants in the Centre of Val Claret, Tignes

We stayed in Val Claret during January 2016. Michel's apartment was absolutely superb for our requirements.

The accommodation is situated on the fifth floor of a modern apartment block. It is easily accessed by a lift from the foyer area. Also located in the foyer are ski lockers that allow safe and secure storage of skis, boards and boots.

The apartment is ideally located in Val Claret (the highest and most central of the Tignes villages). A well-stocked and relatively cheap supermarket is only 50m away and there are numerous ski hire shops within a short walk. An excellent bakery is also part of the same building complex. Ski lifts are approximately 5 minutes walk and there are a number of options to get you out of the resort. Tignes and Val d'Isere are fantastic ski areas but our experience would suggest that they would suit intermediate and advanced skiers. Beginners will find it difficult to negotiate some of the main access pistes.

Michel, the owner, was extremely helpful when arranging our booking. He answered all my emails quickly and efficiently. My limited knowledge of French wasn't an issue as Michel provided all the information we needed in perfect English.

On arrival in Val Claret we were met very quickly by the owner's local rep. She took us to the apartment and gave us all the information we needed to get started. She also gave us a bottle of wine and some locally produced jam! What a great welcome! I had a number of questions through the week that were answered quickly by text so we had the perfect support for the duration of our stay.

The apartment was exactly as described in the Homelidays listing. Two of the bedrooms had small en-suite bathrooms (shower, WC and basin). In addition, there was another bathroom and separate WC on the ground floor. For the three of us, it was heaven as we basically had a bathroom each!

The kitchen was well equipped with a Nespresso machine, filter coffee maker, microwave, toaster etc. The living area may be a little small for groups or families of more than four people but for us it was absolutely fine.

With balconies facing in two directions, the views from the apartment were first class. We heard some noise from the street during the early hours of the morning but only because Tignes is a popular place for energetic boarders and skiers!

All in all, an absolutely perfect stay and I would recommend Michel's apartment as the perfect base for a Tignes winter holiday.

Séjour famille

très agréable. Bien situé. Nous étions 5 enfants et 3 adultes, dont deux petits en bas âge. Proche école ski (à 10 mn à pied), proches commerce (en bas appartement). Bien équipé avec lave vaisselle (petit bémole pour le four micro-ondes qui fait office de four et se met vite en sécurité si on s'en sert trop en tant que four). Propriétaire charmant et plein de délicate attention. A recommander !

Bon appartement

Appartement bien situé, parking couvert (payant) à proximité, équipement tel que décrit sur le site. Accès aux pistes rapide, retour possible en ski quasiment jusqu'à l'appart.

Commerces à proximité, et possibilité de prendre les forfaits sur le chemin pour les pistes.

Contact avec proprio et les gestionnaires très correct, très professionnel.
