The flat is located in the Bairro of Santa Catarina, in the historical centre of Lisbon.
The flat is in the 4th floor of a 18th century building with marble and wood staircases, and 19th century tiles in the walls.
It has a magnificent solar exposition and an incredible almost 360º view over the hills and the Tagus River.
The building and the flat has been recently renovated (April 2008). In the renovation, carefully done under the supervision of an architect, the apartment was entirely reconstructed, from the roof structure to the pavement, guaranteeing absolute safeness, light and thermal comfort. All materials used in the construction are 100% natural/ ecological: wooden structure and pavement; wood-fibbers panels for roof insulation; and traditional lime mortar in walls. All together they greatly enhance the quality of the inner environment, guaranteeing you the difference in your stay. Despite the big remodelling, the spirit of the traditional Pombaline architecture remains intact in such elements as the fireplace, the tiled walls and the staircase structure.
