Charming, vintage Adirondack cabin built mid-century by hand and kept authentic on purpose. The cabin has been kept in it's original state with minor modifications, only to upgrade comforts. Cabin has electricity and of course hot/cold running water but it also has a cozy Adirondack set of gas lights that give the cabin a unique charm and romanticism. If you've ever wanted to experience an authentic Adirondack cabin, this is your place.

This pet friendly Adirondack Cabin rental is located on Kiwassa Outlet, which is part of the Saranac Chain of Lakes. The cabin is just 3 miles from Saranac Lake and has a view of Kiwassa Lake from the furnished screen porch or spacious outside deck from which you can rest, relax and take in the views. 2 bedrooms with private loft and 1 bathroom. Depending on sleeping arrangements, the cabin has a maximum occupancy for 6-8 guests.

The Convenient Kitchen has a door which leads to the outdoor deck with picnic table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove/oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, sink, cooking utensils, flatware and dishes (service for 9).

The Living Room has two picture windows facing the front of the cabin with a sofa, electric monitor heater, wood burning stove, dresser and view of the water. The adjoining dining area has a large table with chairs.

The Two Bedrooms and Loft the bedrooms have a double bed and the loft is a platform with two double mattresses. All beds have mattress covers and pillows (you'll need to bring your own linens, blankets & towels).

The Bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower stall. This Adirondack cabin also has an outhouse that can be used as a 'second bathroom'.

COVID-19 INFORMATION & SAFETY
We’re Sanitizing Even What You Don't See

We’re closely monitoring the NY State Governor’s guidance. Our operations will undoubtedly change and we appreciate your patience and consideration in advance.

Our Expectations of Guests
Taking Care
We are a small family business simply trying to navigate what the new normal is while also trying to maintain the health of our guests and ourselves. We expect that our guests have taken great care and precaution, as we have, to self-quarantine and social distance. We know the Adirondacks is beloved to many which is why we’re opening our doors in a limited way. We will welcome guests who have self-quarantined prior to arrival for 14 days and who are feeling well and healthy. We expect our guests to be honest - that they have not come into contact with anyone that has had active COVID-19. Our cabins host 8 or fewer people. Only one cabin will be rented to each party. We will disallow congregating in groups of more than 10. This restriction may ease later in the summer. If you do not feel you can meet these expectations, please cancel your reservation.

Relaxing getaway
Stayed at Camp Anne with our two kids plus our niece and nephew and our beagle. The cabin was clean and cozy with sleeping accommodations for the 6 of us. we enjoyed hangin out on the deck and swiming along the shoe. We rented canoes and paddled to Saranac Lake and back. the kitchen is modest but functional and we used the charcoal grill several nights. The fishing was excellent right by the cabin - just watch for motor boats coming thorugh the channel. We look forward to reting again.

We own several properties in the area and this cabin is one of our favorites. We have lived in the Adirondacks since 1991 but have been part-time residents since the 1960s. We even attended the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid! We can offer suggestions for activities unless you simply want to rest and relax in the cabin.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

This is the most scenic area in the east! It is an easy place to rest, relax and enjoy life at a slower pace. Kiwassa Lake is an idyllic and quiet lake and most guests return year after year to get away from the hustle and bustle of a faster pace.

The cabin offers a wonderful deck with Adirondack chairs that allow guests to put their feet up, read a book and soak up the view of the lake. As night falls, the fire pit on site allows for an outdoor ambiance like none other.

Often guests will take in a sighting of our lake loon and its beautiful calls. Other guests have said they have seen eagles, deer, fish jumping, wild types of birds, etc…
