“Peace be with you.” Our newly re-modeled 1 bedroom; 1 & 1/2 bath condo features a most peaceful, relaxing and refreshing vacation on an island with more “to do” than can possibly be experienced. See the list of activities below. We hope you will select your most desired activities and use the condo for a place to relax, wind down, and restore yourself. The half bath off the entrance hallway allows your guests facilities without disturbing your private rest. Only the shower which is a highlight feature needs to be shared. Wait until you use it! You can take a shower using one or a combination of 6 shower heads. It’s like a stand up jacuzzi.

The kitchen features new stainless steel appliances that were especially selected to be the most quiet models available. A new wide granite counter provides plenty of space for food preparation, snacking while sitting on the 2 stools or just chatting and enjoying the beauty of the granite. The 2 deep section sink design is most favorable. The sink fixture water control is by a simple touch. For the coffee lovers, we urge you to buy whole bean coffee because the bean grinder stops at preset levels to preserve flavor. The glass topped stove’s controls are at your waist so there is no danger of reaching over hot pots to access controls. The double door refrigerator has ample storage space and a choice of ice shapes made from filtered water. A stacked washer/dryer is just behind the pocket door next to the refrigerator. A vacuum cleaner is there as well. Turn on the dishwasher as you go to bed. You’ll never hear it.

Enjoy the beautiful tropical landscape outside as you dine from the glass topped dining table which has 4 solid wood chairs with leather coverings. Tasteful, sturdy, and comfortable.

The living room has a 55 inch Samsung Smart TV. Free WiFi brings cable, on line movies and even your favorite websites for viewing from the love seat and 2 arm chairs (they rock, recline and swivel) for ever more comfort and peace. If you open the vertical blinds, light, not direct sun, streams in with relaxing views of the exceptional grounds of The Shores.

One side of the bedroom is lined with mirrored sliding doors. There is very adequate space for your luggage and clothing. There is also an iron and board in case you want to step out of Hawaii informality. The furniture includes a king size bed, large armoire, side table, lamps and a chair. The double sink lavatory is at the end of the mirror doors. Granite counter and single handle controls are tasteful and efficient. Separated from this lavatory is a toilet and THE SHOWER.

A wrap around lanai has plenty of space for a 48 inch table and 4 chairs and 2 comfortable reclining arm chairs. Sometimes, the wind blows in Waikoloa. Because it blows in a tangent direction, just move the arm chairs to the side out of the wind and enjoy fresh air free of the dangerous pollution of the Kona “Vog.” There are no “cruise ship” crowd to disturb the peaceful retreat at The Shores. Other benefits include the swimming pool (entrance visible from our lanai), gas barbecues just next to the building, 2 tennis courts and an exercise room just a short walk away and beautifully landscaped grounds with water features and koi ponds.

The unit is a five minute drive to Anaehoomalu Bay (A-Bay) and short drive to Hapuna Beach. We have beach chairs, cooler, beach mats, beach towels, body boards and snorkel gear for your relaxing swim.

Finally, I’d like to call attention to security. The complex is secure with controlled gate access and as additional security, you have the benefit of a second floor unit, the door to which has a lock which can only be opened during your stay by your exclusive and private code. No need to pick up and return keys. No keys to lose at the beach and each current occupant can come and go as desired.
