Hannah's Cottage is in a quiet part of the village with immediate access to good pub(s), and a very good grocer/butcher. It is a short drive from Banbury for larger grocery shopping but access to the immediate countryside in minutes.
Clare & I loved our two day break for its quiet and tranquility. The cottage has everything one would wish for in a modern home, and its comfort only added to a good two day break.
Reading the visitors book confirmed that others had similar experiences, and its without reservation that we recommend this Cotswald hideaway.

We were on a 61 day celebration vacation in Europe for our 50th Wedding anniversary. Our last stop was Charlotte and Chris's Hannah Cottage for 6 nights. The warm and friendly feelings that surrounds you in Adderbury comes from the entire town and especially Charlotte and Chris. It is a picture perfect town in rural England where we explored the many historic sights and were able to travel to the areas where the many English murder mystery TV series are and were filmed. From Stratford Upon Avon to Oxford and Chipping Norton to the corner Red Lion Inn and the next door 'Bell' pub all was exactly as advertised. As far as the actual cottage it was probably the best accommodation we had overall in our 61 day vacation. Roomy and comfortable and very functional as well. We can't say enough about Charlotte and Chris - great people who were concerned that their guests had a great time in their cottage. Aside from all the kindnesses shown us , Charlotte gave us a listing of sights she thought would interest us - she was on target every time. When we returning to England we will be staying at Hannah's Cottage for sure.
We had a delightful week at Hannah's cottage thanks to our wonderful hosts Charlotte and Chris. There wasn't anything we could have needed especially with the welcoming package of bread, tea, milk, jam, butter and sugar. We could relax as soon as we arrived. We sampled all the local food vendors all had great food but our personal preference was for the Red Lion, a little bit quieter. Charlotte and Chris were a most welcome fountain of knowledge about the area and places to visit, it was almost as if they knew us well, especially when they told us about Blackwell Books.
Ron even spent an evening learning the game of Aunt Sally at the pub next door and thoroughly enjoyed it. He's not sure it'll catch on in Vancouver but it was fun watching.
Thank you so much Charlotte and Chris for an amazing week in Hannah's Cottage
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely weekend stay at Hannah's cottage and it was just what we needed. Peace and quiet as well as lovely surroundings. The cottage itself is idyllic, spacious but still very cosy. Despite the cold weather it was very warm and comfortable. We felt that the welcome gift of eggs, bread, milk ect was a nice touch. The village itself is beautiful. We enjoyed exploring the surroundings and the pubs!!! All in all we had a lovely relaxing stay and it was value for money. We miss It already and can't wait to return.
We stayed for 2 nights in May at Hannah's Cottage - unfortunately only 2 nights! We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend the house!
The Cottage is a beautifully furnished, cozy holiday home in which nothing is missing. Not even breakfast: bread, butter, eggs, jam, juice and milk - a wonderful surprise to us we have never had before in a selfcatering house! The photos of the house show exactly as it is. It is quiet even though it is right in the village center. Charlotte and her husband are very friendly, helpful and humorous! And locals: we learned a lot about local traditions like Morris dancers, bell ringers and a totaly unknown game called „Aunt Sally“ ;-)) Adderbury is a beautiful historic place in beautiful surroundings away from the crowds of the Cotswolds but near enough to a lot of interesting places.
Even if it was mid-May we had storm, rain and cold nights but Hanna's Cottage was a real "home" with heating, bath, red wine and a wonderful bed! And at a really fair price.
We say "thank you" and hope to come back again.
Charlotte and Chris provided a warm welcome to Hannah's Cottage in picturesque Atterbury. The loaf of crusty bread, butter, marmalade, milk and juice was a welcome sight. We stayed at the cottage for almost two weeks. If there had not been a scheduling conflict we would have stayed longer.
My wife has some mobility problems but the steps were not a problem. He cottage was very clean and well equipped. Charlotte took the time to show us how every appliance worked. Having the laundry facilities was a great convenience.
There is a small store a few steps away for convenience. A larger superstore is a few minutes away in Banbury. There are four pubs in Atterbury with three being within walking distance.
The walks in the village and the surrounding countryside were like something your read in books. The quiet was interrupted by the church bells tolling or children going or coming from school.
It was a lovely holiday. We recommend a stay at Hannah's Cottage for anyone wanting a quite getaway. It was five star.

O serviço de ônibus local para Banbury em uma direção, ou Oxford no outro, permite-lhe esquecer o seu carro e ainda aceder a lugares encantadores que estão "para além da paróquia".
