Playa Langosta is a high-end neighborhood in Tamarindo, Surrounded by multi-million dollar homes and exuberant nature, this is the best place for vacations.
It is located a short 2-minute drive on a brand new cement road or a 15-minute walk where you will be able to see monkeys and exotic birds along the way.

The beach has tide pools perfect for little kids to discover colorful fish and your occasional octopus.
Towards the estuary (less than 100 from the public entrance) you have calm and refreshing waters with plenty of shade and right in front of it you have the local's favorite surf spot, It is common to see lots of people with their surfboards walking around or even in their bicycles.

There is a store with all the products you need and 3 restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
You will have access to the entire property.

Tamarindo is 1 hour away from the Liberia Airport, you can arrange shuttles or car rentals through us with special prices and discounts.

Once in Tamarindo you can rely on the informal taxi service or rent an ATV to move around and discover some amazing beaches 30 minutes away from us.

The two-bedroom homes have room for six people, with one king bed in the master and two queen beds in the second bedroom.

Situated near the Cala Luna hotel, guests can enjoy the Cala Moresca restaurant which offers a wide selection of fresh, healthy gourmet dishes. Have a drink at the La Caletta lounge-bar which serves light lunches and snacks throughout the day and international fusion tapas-style dining at night. The beach is a short five-minute walk through the beautiful gardens. The Villas are halfway between the towns of Tamarindo and Langosta, which makes them convenient for dining as well as for privacy.

Nice place.

The villa met our needs and was what we expected all in all. The biggest complaints were the ants. I feel the house could use some detailing that would close off many of the open area that led to the outside. Probably not a big deal considering the location and bugs are expected but the ants were BAD!! All over the counters in the kitchen that you couldn't see bc of the granite and large ones through out the entire house all of the time,. My sons were scared to use the toilets and to go to bed after each evening of manual ant slaughterings. All off the doors have large openings around them allowing them full access to our comfy home.. Im fine when camping as bugs are expected to roam tents but not a home. Other than this, the guard each night was comforting, the space was amazing , nice to have your own pool and the location was good. They made everything easy for checking in and out and can't complain about the washer and dryer we used daily. After having visited I feel a place right on the beach would be ideal but for our first trip here it was a good villas to have rented. The beds were pretty comfy and firm and never had a problem with bugs in the bed!

Biking group

We spent a week here with 3 couples. The villa was spacious good location, 10 min walk to the beach, 20 min walk to town. The 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were a good size but we would have preferred to have 3 bedrooms with a queen in each room rather than 2 single beds in one room. Each has an air conditioner and an updated bathroom with good size showers in each of them. The kitchen was a good size but for our use we were looking to cook our own meals after a week of a bike tour. We found it not fully stocked for our purpose. i.e. No kettle, toaster or tea towels. We travelled from Canada and expected to have some stables in the kitchen like spices etc but there was not anything! The private pool out back was very nice for non beach days! The washing machine was not working but the management company did our laundry for us. We went on a snorkelling trip with blue dolphin and we booked it through the rpm which was very handy. There are buses to get to other beaches. Which is a nice perk as we didn't rent a car! Look for the local paper in English to see nuts scedules, we took blue line.

Hidden Villas

I was happily surprised with these Villas, everything new and clean, very modern , all utensils needed, very comfortable and spacious, very close to the beach and with a private swimming pool. Situated close to Tamarindo and Playa Langosta, most beautiful beaches in the area.Highly recomend.

Villas Cala Luna, playa Langosta,Tamarindo

I spent with my family a weekend at Villas Calaluna, they are very spacious, ours was,3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms,big living area,and a pretty good kitchen. Other Villas are only 2 bedroom/2 bathroom, but the rest is pretty much the same.This Villas also have a private pool, I found that really nice. Villas are newly renovated, with good air condition units in every room, updated bathrooms. Internet access and cable TV. I definitelly recomend this Villas, they are very close to the beach. Nice , and private, good for families with kids, or teenagers, or a group of friends looking to spend a few days at the beach. The kitchen is ok if you want to bring your own food, but there are also many restaurants around the area you can try. In Tamarindo you can find Auto Mercado , where you can get pretty much everything you need. I will definitelly come back.
