This is our fully furnished, with extensive renovations, family cabin located in the charming town of Windermere, B.C. Our vacation property is a walkout bungalow with over 2000 sq/ft on both levels and is 7 min from the town of Invermere. The upstairs features two bedrooms, (1 queen and 1 rm with 2 bunkbeds), a 4 pce bathroom, a large kitchen with island eating area, separate dining area, living room with Osburn wood burning fireplace, hardwood, carpet and A/C. There is a large wrap around deck with outdoor furniture, Weber BBQ and mountain/lake views. The walkout basement level has three more bedrooms, (3 queen beds) a bathroom with shower, family room, and a laundry room with new HE front load washer and dryer. The laundry room also has a second fridge and extra storage. There are LCD Flat Screen TV's, wireless internet and Shaw cable. Board games are available for use. The Windermere public beach is approx. 150 meters away and has a park area, trees, dock, children's play area, tables and change rooms. The large back yard is fenced with green space and a fire pit. Our home has a double attached garage with a basketball hoop. A large driveway easily allows parking for cars plus a boat. This home is nonsmoking and no pets. Definitely no animals inside house. Our children are grown now, and this is why we have decided to rent out our vacation retreat. As a family we were able to ski/snowboard at nearby Panorama, (30 min away) Fairmount, (15 min away) and Kicking Horse ski resort (approx. 1 hour away in Golden). Ice fishing, skating, x-country skiing on Lake Windermere is available in the winter and Banff is about 1.5 hours away. Summer activities include swimming, fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, biking, hiking, sightseeing, hot springs, and golfing. A general store called Family Pantry with groceries, ice cream, alcohol, and fireworks is right up the street and is only a one-minute walk away. The town of Windermere has Hopkins Harvest just up the road- about a 7 min walk, with coffee, ice cream, pizza, fresh baking and the wonderful market with fresh fruits and vegetables. WOW Pizza and the White House is down the street. There is miniature golf w/ go karts about a 5 min walk away as well. Windermere has numerous golf courses within a 10-minute drive. Our home is a short 7 min drive to Invermere where you can load up on grocery supplies, eat at restaurants, bars, shopping etc. There are art galleries, wood carving and glassblowing shops close by. This house is suitable for families, couples/friends, family reunions, getaway skiers and golfers to make lots of fun memories. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we have! For the summer months of July and August we request a one-week Minimum rental as this is prime time. Any damage to house, yard, or surrounding area is the responsibility of the renter. THE CND $$RATE FOR OUR HOUSE IS $425 NIGHT, OR $3000 WEEK OR $12,000 PER MONTH CND $$$$. KIDS are best for sleeping in the bunkbeds as the bunks are not suitable for adult weights. WE ARE A NO PARTY HOME. During the summer our policy is a 1-week minimum rental, and WE ARE LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM 0F 8 PEOPLE AT ONE TIME. We may consider a family of 4 adults and 4 kids max 8. Covid rules and regulations may change the rental requirements at any time. All B.C. and AB. Health regulations must be followed during a pandemic. AGAIN, OUR HOUSE HAS A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEK RENTALS IN THE SUMMER MONTHS. Thank you.
