The space
Welcome to our beautiful property, featuring spacious and well-appointed rooms for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Our home is tastefully designed with modern furnishings and fixtures, providing all the amenities you need to feel at home.

Each of our 3 bedrooms is cozy and inviting, with comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. The 2 full bathrooms are sparkling clean and stocked with fresh towels and toiletries for your convenience.

The newly-renovated gourmet kitchen is fully-equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and cherry cabinets, making it a pleasure to cook and entertain in. The living room is perfect for lounging and socializing, featuring a large and comfortable sectional sofa and a flat-screen TV with cable.

Outside, our property sits on over 3 acres of beautiful woodland, with a spacious and fenced-in backyard perfect for outdoor activities and gatherings. Come and enjoy a peaceful and rejuvenating stay with us!

As our guest, you'll enjoy exclusive access to the entire house during your stay. The entire unit is private and only for your use, so you can relax and enjoy your stay without any interruptions.

Your keyless entry code will be sent to you before 3 PM on the day of your arrival, making check-in a breeze. With the code, you'll be able to easily enter the property and make yourself at home. If you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, our team is always available to help.

Not as expected

The Good: (1) The house is located where they said. (2) The entry code worked. (3) Large fenced yard as described. (4) There is plenty of hot water. The Bad: As a general theme, it seems no one has updated the web listing in some time and that no one checked the status of the house before we arrived. (1) The Wi-Fi network name and password sent to us by the owner did not work. We finally found the label on the back of the cable modem. (2) The HomeAway listing included “cable/satellite TV” but when we arrived there was nothing - the TV was not hooked up, and the cable dangling was not long enough to reach it. They finally brought a Roku unit, and said “we don’t offer cable TV anymore, just Roku”. This meant no local stations, no national network stations (only two Spanish language local signals found) so no football games during bowl season . (3) “Fully equipped” is too generous a description for the kitchen. Because we were planning a stay over Christmas, we asked before coming about a roasting pan and a mixer. Neither was there when we arrived, but they brought a hand mixer. The non-stick coating of the two frying pans was so cut up as to be dangerous. No saucepans, no serving pieces, no teapot, no potholders, no dishtowel, no coasters. The dishwasher has to be run twice to get the dishes clean. (4) The shower in the master bath drains very slowly. Both baths have regular wooden interior windowsills exposed to the water in the shower, and both show signs of mildew. One bathroom has a bathmat, the other doesn’t, one has a trash can, the other doesn’t. (5) Some of the perimeter windows have no latches and could be opened from the outside. A few are painted shut, though. (6) The couches are in terrible shape, missing legs and with plywood planks and dirt under the cushions. (7) We booked through HomeAway. When we first tried to contact the owner via phone, we got referred to another number, which then had a full voicemail box. When we used a HomeAway message, the reply was "contact VRBO" . The Ugly: Tree limb about 10" in diameter and 10 ft long fell during the night, crushing part of the fence. If a person or a pet had been under it , they would have been killed. Many other trees look dead, too. Conclusion: Not recommended. This listing has eroded my trust in all HomeAway listings. In future we must contact each owner and ask yes/no questions about every promised feature.

Well, from the outside, cute quiet home. The check in was a nightmare. I had to call the manager twice because over 24 hours after booking, I still had not received the email. We got to the property. The inside looks nice, mismatched furniture but renovated which was fine with us. The house was freezing. I mean freezing. We traveled with a 3 month old and a 5 year old who had to sleep in hoodies because when we arrived at 7 pm, the thermostat was literally set to 50 degrees. We had put the heat on but it didn’t not reach 72 till the following morning. Knowing they were having guests, the heat should have been turned in. Next, I open the closet to try and find another blanket and a huge water bug greets me. I was so disgusted that I left the blanket in the closet. Crumbs were not cleaned off the counter from the previous guest which was gross. Not exactly sure what I paid a cleaning fee for?????? The next morning we wake up to make coffee and there is no coffee however, everything else provided to make it. Pointless. We end up going out to breakfast come home and find ANOTHER waterbug in the kitchen. The cost of the house was fine just not for the bugs filth and cleaning fee. Totally wish I could get a refund on that fee. I would stay here if I couldn’t find anywhere else but wouldn’t mind spending an extra $100 for a cleaner place
