Soberbamente propriedade orla espaçoso. Na beira da praia, perto da marina, e ao lado do clube Sailing Exmouth. Lojas do centro da cidade estão a poucos passos de distância, a estação de trem local também dentro de 10/05 minutos a pé. Perto de todas as ligações de transportes e comodidades de lazer. Vistas maravilhosas do Exe estuário. Varanda privada com deck e pátio grande separado. Amplamente equipado com TV, DVD, som, máquina de lavar louça, geladeira, freezer, máquina de lavar, secadora, aquecimento central etc. Viagens Exe Estuário e 2 quilômetros de praia de areia dourada que depois leva para o início do Património Mundial, Jurassic Coast.

bad weather great stay

Our family of 6 adults and an 8 month old baby stayed for 6 nights.

This property was very clean and the facilties were perfect for us, the lounge was superb with great views over the estuary, the kitchen had everything we needed and as we had the little one with us the washing facilities were very welcome.

It is just a short stroll around the marina into the town and we had no problem with parking.

We all agreed we will stay next year and hopefully the weather will be little kinder to us then.

This is one of just three houses in this part of the complex facing north-south. The rear gets no direct sunshine. It looks out onto a public pathway, the local Yacht Club car park and boatyard and, to the right, another block of houses/apartments. The website view from the lounge zooms beyond this foreground (you can just make out some masts in the boatyard) towards north Exmouth across the town side of the estuary that becomes a mudflat at low tide. The south shore can be glimpsed past – and through – the next-door bay window but this view is otherwise blocked by the Yacht Club clubhouse.

Entry to the property is across a communal courtyard. There is a garage but this was locked and unavailable, leaving space to park just one car on the driveway. This makes the property less than ideal for a group with more than one car and, with notices threatening clamping of ‘illegally-parked’ vehicles and public car parks so expensive, it’s difficult even to invite friends or relatives over for a meal as we had planned to do. We eventually learned from a neighbour about four ‘Visitor Parking’ spaces a short walk away but, sadly, too late for us to benefit much from them.

The Ground Floor consists mainly of the kitchen/diner. This is fine for two, tight for four and, with four dining chairs and no room for more, impractical for six. It is well-equipped with the ‘essentials’ but stripped completely of those consumables one expects to find – and leave – such as salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. There was nothing, not even those all-important bags in which to store waste food for recycling.

On the Second Floor the comfortably furnished lounge spans the width of the house along with the third bedroom that, for us, merely provided access to a small balcony with table and two chairs. The view from here is of the communal courtyard, other houses and apartments and the access road through the complex. One does get a glimpse of the Marina itself and, in the far distance, the mouth of the estuary; but the main benefit of the balcony is the south-facing aspect, making it a sun-worshipper’s delight.

On the Third Floor are two good-sized bedrooms – a double with small ensuite and a twin – together with a family bathroom.

We would recommend this well-presented house as a comfortable base for up to four people, with the Marina on the doorstep and within easy walking distance of Exmouth’s promenade, main beach and town centre. We will almost certainly be booking again!

Resposta do proprietário: The rear of our property has sunshine in the morning, it is a nice experience having breakfast on the patio in the sun, unfortunately this may not happen all year round. The sailing club have a small area on the far side of the car park which is designated a dinghy park, this in no way detracts from the wonderful view of the estuary - which at low tide is dry enough for people to use this as an area of recreation, to walk, play with children or birdwatch. The dining area of the kitchen has six chairs and we have sat six very comfortably on a number of occasions, there is a good size kitchen with a separate utility, this includes a washing machine, a tumble dryer, freezer and storage area. Due to health and safety our cleaning company have to remove any items left behind by previous holiday occupants. This is not ideal and sometimes frustrating. We are looking into the possibility of providing a starter pack with a small amount of basic items for new guests. As a holiday home we do try to provide a modern comfortable and spacious house for our guests, as it can be disappointing when things are not quite as people expect, we will always try to improve or change anything which we can. We welcome feedback from all holiday occupants and hope all who stay will one day wish to return.

Brilliant accomodation

My family have been visiting this lovely house for the past fourteen years and we have loved every minute of it. The accommodation on three floors is a home from home with a holiday feeling. The views from the living room window over the estuary is truly wonderful. Every amenity that you could wish for our found within the this beautifully maintained property. The beach is a few paces out of the back door and the marina is a few paces from the front door. Walking around the marina is a true pleasure. The 3 miles of promenade with the cafe and restaurants make this an ideal holiday for young families. In fact we have now started taking the third generation of our family. * Property very nice and views lovely. Very comfy and

homely - close to marina amenities (cafe, bars, main

promenade etc.)

* Plenty of in-house facilities available - useful as weather

was dire.

* Outside patio area was not very good - only 2 chairs and

a small table which looked unkempt and weather beaten.

* Not suitable for disabled because of 3 flights of stairs.

* No info on things like taking out the bin or where to leave

the key. Needed to turn on hot water - lucky we had

same system at home otherwise may not have known

how to use it.

* You will need to bring your own soap/dishwasher tabs/

bin bags etc. as none were available.

* Would have been nice to have blinds/curtains in lounge

as limited privacy from surrounding properties.

*Not much up-to-date info on local activities.

* Remote control for DVD player did not work - might have

been dead batteries.

Overall, property well positioned and comfortable with good local access. Minor points as mentioned above could have made experience excellent.
