Copper Mountain Ski Area and Keystone Ski Area are both about twenty minutes away.
The 1900 square foot house is on three levels. The upper bedroom and bathroom are located behind the loft at the top of the stairs. The loft has expansive views of the jagged peaks of the Ten Mile Range. The private upper bedroom overlooks the Breckenridge Ski Area. The upper bathroom has recently been remodeled to include a four-person steam shower and soaking tub. There is a very small private deck off the back of the bedroom overlooking open space.
The main floor consists of the kitchen, a large living room, a queen bedroom, and newly updated bathroom with a shower. There is a three season screened in porch off the kitchen with a gas fireplace. The area directly behind the house is the luxury Highlands neighborhood however directly behind the house is undevelopable open space. A natural wetlands here attracts moose, fox and deer regularly.
The driveway is plowed in the winter but does require cautious attention after a storm.
The feel of the house is like a mountain cabin with the comforts of a house. We have a flat TV screen connected to the WiFi service for streaming NetFlix, Hulu, YouTube etc., but we do not have cable TV.
