In Moormerland you can expect a variety of excursions by bike, on foot or by canoe on natural canals.
From here it is only 30 minutes by car to Emden, from where you can take the Katermeran or the ferry to the East Frisian island of Borkum.

In 20 minutes by bike you are with the bike in Timmel, a dreamy little fishing village with a harbor.
Relaxation, tranquility and nostalgia characterize the surrounding picturesque coastal towns with their historic churches, brick houses and mills.
