Fantastic Apartment

We stayed at this 2 BR apartment for a about a week. Excellent condition with great amenities. Perfect location-- it was convenient to everything.

The apartment we rented was different from the unit that is pictured but equally nice. It was in the same modern elevator building.

Highly recommend it.

Great location

The flat is comfortable, well stocked and the location is perfect. Stores, restaurants and the Holborn Underground are all within a 2 minute walk. It is a great home base for exploring London.

Clean, bright, and a good location

Our family of 4 stayed in this flat for a week in late June. It was clean, bright, and up-to-date.

We particularly liked the ample patio accessible from the living room area via french doors. The location was an excellent jumping-off point for discovering London whether by foot, taxi or tube (Holborn station). There is a grocery store, a pharmacy ("chemist"), a good coffee shop, a pub and more within a block of the flat.

Our friends used the adjacent flat, which is offered on vrbo by the same owner. That worked extremely well: we each had our private space but could coordinate seamlessly.

The one downside of this flat was the noise from a nearby construction project. We bought ear plugs, which did help. However, until that project is complete, I would not recommend this flat to those who prefer to sleep in beyond 8 am.

Lovely, comfortable flat

Owner was very responsive when we had questions, and so was his representative. One feature about this flat--the bathtub is AMAZING, long enough for a proper soak. Plenty of room in the bedrooms, and the living/dining room is a nice amount of space without feeling cramped. The balcony was especially nice on warm evenings. The kitchen could use a cutting board, but other than that is decently fitted out, and you have a refrigerator as well as a freezer. Would definitely stay here again, even though taxi drivers may have a hard time finding the street. There's no visible number on the building, but it does say Aria House over the entrance.

Great location, just ok apartment, not super clean, terrace too dangerous to use.

We have stayed in a few London apartments and I can't honestly say that I would stay at this one again. For the same amount of money you could probably find something nicer and better maintained. The owner is efficient but I wouldn't say he was friendly -we dealt with the associate/housekeeper who seemed very rushed. The apartment has a mix of thrift-store furnature (some damaged tables and very worn sofa) and bare walls with dirty streaks and marks everywhere. There is a fist-size hole in the bathroom door. But the beds were comfortable and the linens were good. When we arrived the bathroom was dirty (hair and old shampoo globs in the tub, hair all over the floor, sink dirty). The owner did send over someone to re-clean the bathroom right away. The floor was not washed anywhere so we kept our shoes on. There is no real storage so you have to live out of your suitcases and they have to be in the living room because the bedrooms are small. We we're pleased to see that there was a terrace but we were told not to go out there because it was in bad shape (you could see mostly damaged, missing planks) too dangerous. I think the selling point on this apartment is the great location. The 5-star reviews all comment on the great location. This apartment has potental to be much better with a bit of TLC (upgrade the furniture, get some window blinds, thorough cleaning, re-paint the walls, fix hole in the door, hang some pictures, fix the terrace, add some storage, replace towels, etc.). Hope this is helpful.

The balcony has been fully renovated to new and the damaged bathroom door replaced. The housekeeper has been changed and the cleaning improved. The location is the most attractive feature of staying here, it is possible to walk to many of central London's top sites, and Holborn tube station is only a 2 minute walk away, but it is also important that you find a clean and tidy apartment on arrival.

Excellent Location and Super Terrace

We enjoyed this apartment in July 2014 for several nights. The terrace was wonderful for our family of four. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The location was perfect for getting around by foot. We discovered a fabulous dinner crepe/pancake restaurant just around the corner on High Holborn...My Old Dutch! I recommend this apartment.
