Family Ski Vacation
Our family of nine enjoyed staying here for our ski trip. I'll list pros and cons:
Pros:
- Plenty of room
- Super convenient location for getting to the slopes with the bus stop a very short walk down the driveway
- Well stocked kitchen with a crockpot, spices, 3 coffee makers (drip and Keurig), plenty of dishes/glasses/silverware/pots and pans
- Hot tub was great-especially since it is on the upper deck and looks out to nothing but nature
- Mats are provided for wet snow boots on
- Humidifiers, space heaters and fans provided for every bedroom
- Extra blankets and pillows available
- Very quiet even though it's off the main road into the resort
- Pump dispensers with hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and dish soap provided
Cons:
- We felt like it wasn't well cleaned. There was pink mold in the bathtubs that I cleaned with some Clorox that was under a bathroom sink. We also found clothing made up in one of the bunk beds
- Only one thermostat so controlling temperature could be an issue. Other reviewers have complained about the downstairs being too cold, but we were very comfortable
- There were no baking dishes for making casseroles (9x13 pans). I bought aluminum pans from Walmart
- Toilets are VERY low
- The 2 bathrooms downstairs have been partially updated, but the sinks are too big for the space and leave no room on the counters
- We had 6 adults but were only given 3 spa towels
We had a great time and the location and ease of getting around was amazing!!
