Situated in the award winning Cypress Lakes Golf Resort, our Villas offer comfort, style and ease. Conveniently located in the heart of the Hunter Valley countryside, expect to be in awe of the amazing views within and around the resort grounds and beyond to the local farms and mountain ranges surrounding the valley. 

Try your hand at golfing through the Pro Shop, explore multiple vineyards in the immediate area or just relax on your private balcony with a sampling from the local wineries. Take a day trip to the east of Lovedale to explore the Werakata National Park, meander south-west to Wollombi or enjoys the prize of nature in the Aberdare State Forest. Take a breath and soak in that OMG! moment.

Overlooking the championship golf resort complex, this self-contained luxury retreat apartment offers 2 bedrooms with a gorgeous ensuite bathroom, 2nd full bathroom, two brand new 22inch TV in the bedrooms, plus laundry facilities with washer and dryer for those travelling with kids or staying a little longer. Being privately owned and managed, we can offer you a flexible check-in & check-out times and always the best rates available.

Villa Provence has a warm and inviting living area, air-conditioning and large sunny entertaining balcony with relaxing views to the mountains and/or resort complex. Visit the nearby Pokolbin wineries and superb restaurants, stroll to the nearby Health Retreat & Spa, or be challenged on the fantastic choice of local golf courses, including this Cypress Lakes and the new Greg Norman designed, The Vintage.

THE Important Stuff -

This villa is privately owned and managed. Securing a reservation through Weekenda at Cypress Lakes affords unlimited access to the public bar & restaurant and the Owners Hillside Pool only. It does not at any time afford access to the resort run pool or gym. Rounds of golf and tennis court hire can be arranged directly through the Pro Shop.

How We Price: The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.

Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.

Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO

Guest Amenities: We are Eco-Friendly - to help reduce wastage, we supply a single bottle of 3in1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash in all showers. In addition, guests are advised to bring their own personal preferred bathroom products/amenities.

Wifi is provided complimentary on behalf of the owner. It is intended to be used in an appropriate manner by all guests. As the service is provided by an external 3rd party, Weekenda cannot and do not guarantee the speed or efficacy of this property's wifi connection nor do we pay any compensation for interruption of service for any reason.

Pools: Weekenda guests have unrestricted access to the Owners/Hillside Pool located on the corner of Chardonnay Terrace & Vintage Avenue. Weekenda Private Villas are not afforded access to Oaks Managed Resort facilities which include the resort/lagoon pool, tennis courts and gym. The Owners/Hillside pool is open for swimming from the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.

No Party Policy: All reservations operate under a Strict No-Party & Non-Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. This property is in a Residential Area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy and may lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. We hate to have to note this, but the reality is that so far this year we have had to evict 3 groups for overstacking/bad/anti-social behavior.

Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested and if approved must be approved in writing with Weekenda staff. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If 10 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.

Cameras and Noise Monitoring: Please note that it is highly likely that we have installed a WiFi Security Camera at the Front Entrance (and sometimes rear of the property) We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2022/2023

Guest Registration / ID Check : Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for photo ID i.e. a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guests names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.

Critical Update: Due to an unprecedented influx of fraudulent bookings, we are forced to impose a policy that protects our clients, industry and community against those attempting to commit fraud and theft. Any booking made within 5 days of arrival is required to provide a photo of a valid credit card in the same full name of the primary guest to match the supplied identification document. Failure of these documents matching will result in the booking being cancelled and all funds processed returned to the original card assumed as stolen and thus a fraudulent transaction. We trust we have our honest and genuine customers understanding this policy is in place to protect all parties.

Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'

A little tired
This apartment has potential but is tired. One dining chair shed stuffing every time it was sat on. All drawers were stuffed with spare bedding (stuffed, not folded) even though there was ample space in shelving above the wardrobe unit. The master bedroom wardrobe was full of a Z bed ( in repair making it difficult to move) so before unpacking there was sorting out to be done. There is a cupboard in the hall way where the spare bed and bedding could be stored away, but this is full of disorganised clutter - old TV’s etc. The kitchen is equally disorganised with random mismatched cultlery, crockery and glassware. When we opened the oven to self cater it contained a soiled baking tray. The hot water system was a mystery to all of us. Some days we all got powerful hot showers, another day it would run cold after a few seconds. You would need either exceptional eyesight or a chain saw to see the promised golf course view! This unit should definitely be clearly marked as unsuitable for the disabled. Form the allocated parking space there are four flights of external steps, covered in bird droppings which makes them quite treacherous (and makes you a target if you are slow moving). The alternative parking area, on walkway, is quite a long way and is undulating, so again a bit of a struggle for those with mobility issues. However, we are holidaying from the UK and found the location superb for touring the area. With a little effort & small expense this could be fabulous!

Good location, property tired and poor access
Great location however the property was old and tired. Odds and ends in kitchen and paint peeling off etc, bbq is a grill not bbq with hood and the access was four steep sets of stairs from car to apartment so not idea for children or if you have much luggage! As well as needing to take our garbage down the four flights of stairs. Access to pool was not possible even though listening said it was. Great spot in the middle of the hunter.

Great set up in a great location
The property was perfect for a group of 6 girls and location was ideal. We had an issue with hot water on the first day but communication with the property manager was very easy and meant it was resolved promptly

Loved this villa, very cozy and very roomy! The staff who manage the villa are awesome! We had a user error issue with the kitchen and they were able to sort that out for us very quickly, they are very knowledgeable. 10/10!
