Not so please!!!!!

First and for most , the most annoying was coming in at the gate I felt like they gave us a hard time even when we had everything , secondly the tv in the living room should’ve have more channel access we was only force to watch one channel the whole stay, the cleanest could have been better , I think the house alone needs an upgrade , things were too fragile in there , the no smoking rules I understand BUT be mindful about the deers out there , it could’ve have more towels and rags even though we brought our own stuff what happen if it don’t be enough , it gets cold downstairs FAST and they have an little heater which if you plug it up the circuit breaker goes off , one thing I can say nicely is that they do send someone out when needed lastly that pavement was dangerous our cars was getting stuck it could’ve been more salt and shoveled better

Overall great place to stay for a few days to ring in the new year.

This place was just what we needed in terms of rooms to stay - the house was big enough for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. The kitchen didn’t have everything we needed however, there are stores close enough to accommodate whatever we needed. The home is in relatively good shape - certainly lived in but nice features. The appliances in the kitchen were clutch when the oven was full. Overall, great stay!

1. The booking for the swimming pool was a mess. We find crockroach in the kitchen and living room. They don’t have washing and dryer machine access. The barbecue is to dirty and old it have to be remplace. The bear nocked down the garbage and mess around in the from at the house.

Just right for a last minute getaway

We decided to getaway with friends and family for Thanksgiving and decided on this listing which looked to give our group enough bedrooms and kitchen and living room space to hang out. The communication prior, during and after was excellent with the owner checking in regularly to make sure everything was in order. While at the property we dealt with the property manager. Although he was under the weather, he was very responsive on the phone. The house overall was clean but there were some areas in the bathroom and kitchen that were missed. As we were visiting for Thanksgiving weekend, naturally there was going to be a lot of cooking going on. The owner did reach out and said they'd accommodate as best as possible but we found the kitchen inadequately stocked for even a regular visit (not enough pots, pans, trays, cutting board, etc.). I'd recommend replacing the K-Cup single serve machine with a regular coffee maker, especially for hosting large groups. There was an issue with the fireplace which took a while to get the pilot going, with some help from the property manager. But afterwards, the unit just wouldn't light fully and unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it during our stay. The heating system worked well but needed to be regularly adjusted for us to stay warm on the main level but then lowered at night as it got very hot while we were asleep. Overall though, we had a nice, fun stay at this property and even got to see deers walking by daily in front of the house which the kids loved.
