Welcome to our Home! We have available a beautiful English-cottage style home with detached Guest House.**(guest house is included during summer months for reservations that start after June 1 and end on Labor-day, otherwise two houses are rented separately with separate reservations) **
Rent one house or both! Sleeps 17-Great for large groups, or families traveling together. Coeur d ‘alene Lake Beach and Boat marina is just down the street. Boat rentals and Jet Ski’s available. Step-outside the door and browse the great Farmers market, located right on this street! Close to Silverwood theme park.
The main home contains 4 bedrooms 2 baths and was completely renovated in May 2023 with an architecture’s mix of modern and period pieces! It has a large living area, family room, built in dining nook, kitchen, laundry, and comfortably sleeps thirteen. Awesome floor plan, perfect for multiple families traveling together, and lots of great common space for people to congregate. Three floors total but with bedrooms and a common area on each floor so groups can be together, but can spread out and have some privacy too.
The furniture is an eclectic mix of regional antiques including a mahogany parlor piano from the early 19th century, a late 18th century Hoosier cabinet, and mahogany French provincial buffet. The tree-lined street is quiet with a church across from the house, but just down the road are two great pubs, a community park, bike rental shop, and a neighborhood Whole foods type of grocer. Ideally located within just blocks of everything-Beach, Golf, Boating, Hiking, fishing spots, cliff diving, city marina, river, hiking trails, biking trails, parasailing, batting cages, tennis, theater, ice cream shops, shopping, city parks, pubs, grocery, Coeur d' Alene Lake Resort, restaurants, and public transportation.
We have traveled the world and we have brought a little piece of back to share with you. The house is a mini international museum. Look closely and you'll find Delft ware porcelain from Holland, a piece of the Berlin wall, a 3,000 year old ruin from the Karnak temple of Egypt, an Ostrich egg, a Hopi Indian basket, a Chinese Violin, a Balinese carved Komodo dragon, the horn of a Kudu, a piece of Rome, a piece of Prague, a stair banister from a German castle and more!
We have art displayed from local artists, and reproductions of the classics-Monet, Manet, Picasso, Van Gogh, Degas, Cezanne, and much more. Have fun exploring the house, but don't forget about Coeur d' Alene! We have been to some of the world’s most famous lakes-Lake Bled in Slovenia, Lake Powell, Lake Como, and can say that none compare to the beauty of Coeur d' Alene. Just a short walk from the house and you'll find world class swimming holes! Enjoy your trip and if there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know.
