Very Roomy & Comfortable
We wanted a house in the eclipse path of total darkness, within driving distance of northern New Jersey and comfortable for fourteen people. This house met our needs. The view across of the bay was beautiful, both morning and night. It had plenty of room for our group of 8 adults and 3 children. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom, the others do not, but their nearby bathrooms are only a few steps away.
It was a wonderful house for a large group and had lots of features like a deck across the back of the house, outside chairs, dining tables, and a fire pit. There was also inside entertainment and game options, plus playscape for the kids.
The rest of the house had plenty of room for getting the group together for meals while offering room for quiet moments. The furnishings were very nice. Each bedroom had 5 bath towels, several hand towels and wash cloths. The beds were appropriately soft and comfortable. The kitchen area had 2 complete sets of refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and sink. There were plenty of plates, glasses, etc. for a large group.
The owners – Brad & Bernie Cooper -- are exceptionally nice people and always responded quickly to my inquiries. Brad met us at the house when we arrived and walked us through the house to explain how everything worked. Brad & Bernie were very helpful post-visit by finding a forgotten book that they will return to us.
In summary, it was a very roomy and comfortable house in a beautiful spot. Highly recommended!
