Cortijo Del Monte, como o próprio nome sugere é escondido no topo de uma montanha com vista para aldeia Torrox e do Mediterrâneo. Situado na área de Montealegre Torrox de campo esta tradicional casa de campo oferece uma casa muito confortável para as suas férias, onde poderá desfrutar do sol à beira da piscina ou a brisa através das árvores nos jardins, rodeado por vinhas e olivais.

A casa tem uma sala de estar com lareira, uma cozinha totalmente equipada com café bar, três quartos duplos, um com casa de banho e outra casa de banho completa, há uma sala de serviço separada. No exterior existe uma piscina, uma área para churrasco e abundância de terraços e jardins para que você possa relaxar e desfrutar de suas férias.

Um depósito será exigido no momento da reserva as suas férias, pago por transferência bancária.

Relacionado a um possível cancelamento, a quantidade paga para a reserva será perdida para alterar possíveis lucros e perdas, considerando que o proprietário poderia perder a oportunidade de alugá-lo novamente.

Lovely stay in Torrox

On arrival in Torrox the owner was waiting at a very clear spot to bring us to the house on top of the hill (550m) but before that he brought me to a supermarket to do some foodshopping because I arrived by taxi.

The house is exactly as it is described. It is in one word " beautiful "

The owners of the house speak Spanish and English and so very helpful and friendly.

If you are looking for a peaceful place this is the one you should hire.

What I missed is a quilt/duvet. I am not a fan of blankets but I have seen more places and these had blankets too. But this would be my tip to the owner.

Thnx again Antonio & Carlos for all your hospitality and great house we could stay.

Perfect family holiday villa and location

The most perfect holiday home we have ever stayed in! Everything was beautiful and immaculate; Carlos and his father have done an amazing job. Totally private and yet the pool and gardens were obviously maintained on a regular basis (very early in the morning). We have visited numerous holiday homes across Europe and all agreed this was the best yet. Close to quiet beaches and peaceful villages yet very easy access from Malaga(approx 1 hour). Nerja is 20 mins away with lots of restaurants, shops and beaches. Highly recommend for families with both young and teenage children. Thanks so much Carlos I really hope to return.

Breathtaking view

This amazing villa on top of the montain has everything you need for a quiet holiday. The outdoor space and the pool area overlooking the mountains and the sea is stunning and the place to be in during the day. The kitchen is very well equipped and the living room is comfortable as well as the three bedrooms which all have air conditioning.

The owner, Antonio, makes sure that everything works and is always available if something happens.

The final road to the house is steep and narrow but after a few trips up and down this road you get used to it. From the house, by car, to Torrox village takes approx. 15-20 min.

We all had a wonderful time at "Castiljo del Monte".

Excellent

We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids and were ecstatic with our stay at Cortijo del Monte.

If you like the look of the pictures then you'll be even more pleased with the real thing as it is much nicer in real life. Although inside is was lovely, it was the outdoor areas that made the holiday for us. There's a picnic table in a shady wooded slope, there's the coffee hut (as we called it) in the garden surrounded by birdlife and butterflies, the semi-circular balcony overlooking Torrox, the BBQ area for dining, and of course the pool area with almost 270 degree views. Loved sitting beside the pool in the evening watching the valley (the black tiles stored the heat from the day making sitting late on cooler evenings pretty comfortable).

If you're partial to a bit of bird-spotting it's a great place too. We're no experts but there was a huge raptor we saw regularly - plus a Nightjar that visited often as it got dark.

On a practical level, the pool area is gated for kids. There's aircon, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, espresso coffee maker (an essential for us). We never wanted for anything.

Carlos was very responsive during booking and during the stay. Antonio was massively helpful onsite and was very patient with my terrible Spanish (he speaks no English - non-Spanish speakers need not worry since between Carlos, Google Translate, and Antonio's expressive manner, little was left to chance).

The road to the villa is very steep and narrow. Easily doable in a VW Golf. We were a little concerned whether our driving skills could cope if we met a car going the opposite way... but that never happened in 2 weeks so we luckily never had to find out.

All in all, and excellent villa and a professional, friendly family team running the operation, wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Close to heaven

Perfect hideaway for people who apreciate nature. Located on the top of a hill with stunning views to mountains and sea. Unproblematic access with a normal car. Well equipped house and perfectly clean with beautiful garden and different seating areas. And to top it all the owners Antonio and his wife are generous and marvellous people trying to fullfill all your little extra wishes. Thanks to all the family and hopefully see you in June, si Dios quiere!

A little bit of paradise

Family of 6. Granny & Granddad, Mum & Dad, son and niece (16/ 15yrs)

We had stayed previously at Antonio's Cortijo Del Sol in 2013 (great little place), just a little further down the mountain. So we had an idea of what to expect. The road up to the Cortijo is concrete and is safe for 7 seater cars stuffed with people & luggage. On the way up the mountain we could see Velez Malaga. So we had a 360 degree view, taking in the Med, Torrox and the Sierra Nevada mountain range.

As usual, Antonio met us a the BP station just off the motorway, he took us to the Cortijo, showed us around and then left us to unpack.

The Cortijo was very clean, beach towels are provided for the pool and plenty of bathroom towels.

Fantast shower in the en suite.

Ceiling mounted fans have been fitted in the two main bedrooms, floor mounted fans in the lounge and smaller bedroom.

Beds are comfy.

There is no air con, I guess there is simply not enough power up there in the mountains. I was fine with the fans at night, even with daytime temp around 30C.

Antonio calls up early in the morning and fills the pool up, great when you spend all day splashing around and having water fights with super soakers.

He comes up around 8am and never disturbed us.

One of the aspects we were so pleased with was the number of patios and hideaways there are. You could escape to 6 different locations outside. The best place to go late afternoon was "Maggies Den". It has a comfy 3 piece suite under a gazebo, with nets blowing around in the breeze. great for a few beers out of the hot afternoon sunshine. Sitting on the coach you have a great view down to the Med.

Its 20 min drive to Torrox Costa and 25min drive to Competa.

We love the Costa, call into Pepe Rico for a chicken kebab or pork steak. Have a home made pizza in Michelangelo, just set back from the prom.

There is a beach bar heading towards Nerja , before Calcete villas but just after the camp site and free wifi bar. Ice cold beer and fresh fish on the BBQ.

We love Torrox and will go back again.

Esta tradição fabuloso espanhol Cortijo está situado a cerca de uma hora de carro a leste de Málaga entre as aldeias brancas de Torrox e Cómpeta. Torrox aldeia é uma unidade de cerca de 15 minutos e uma distância de 6 km aprox. A casa está localizada no topo de uma colina, portanto, desfrutando de vistas verdadeiramente fabulosas das montanhas, mar e litoral entre Nerja e Málaga. Cómpeta também está muito perto em aprox. 7 km.

O acesso à casa é excelente. Ao sair da auto-estrada você tem uma pequena unidade para a estrada principal Torrox / Cómpeta (A-7207) e, em seguida, 4. 5 km desta estrada antes de chegar à área de Montealegre de Torrox onde você toma uma excelente pista, mais concretada para chegar ao villa.
