The genuine attraction of Kukljica is the traditional procession by boat on the Feast of Our Lady of the Snow (5th of August), when the statue of Our Lady of the Snow is taken from the votive church of Our Lady of the Snow in the Zdrelascica bay to the parish church of St. Paul dating from the 17th century. The statue is accompanied by a procession of hundreds of boats of all sizes. The procession has been taking place here since 5th of August 1514., when according to the legend, snow fell in the middle of summer, almost five hundred years ago. Kukljica is located on the regional road running along the island of Ugljan; 2 km southeast of the village is the bridge, 201 m long, which connects Ugljan with the island of Pasman, over the Zdrelac strait. The Kukljica offers you various sports and recreational opportunities: tennis courts, small playgrounds, bocce court, miniature golf, table tennis, diving center etc. Equipment for water sports (pedal boats, canoes, surfing boards, bikes etc.) is rented.
