**Nightmare Experience **
The location on the beach was perfect and the property was decent. Very comfortable for larger people. The downside of the property is it smelled of cigarettes and the toilets were tiny. However, this was not the worst of it. Our experience with the host was a nightmare.
The host texted me that the property would be ready by 3:30. One from our group arrived at 3:22 and was waiting in her car for the others to arrive. The host arrived shortly after and invited her in. She rushed around to finish getting the property ready. The others arrived at 3:30 and offered to help her where possible. She finished up and left. Shortly after she started harassing me with text messages.
The host continued throughout the weekend to harass me over text and even contacted VRBO to have our reservation canceled. I have never had anyone personally attack me as this woman did. She told me she would be watching us, and she did. We noticed her sitting on the beach with someone else facing the house the several hours throughout the afternoon. She remained after one from our group waved at them. She had taken pictures of us from the group while we were using the property.
The host’s actions were rude, aggressive, and outright hostile toward us. I ended up spending hours between texts and phone calls dealing with the host and VRBO seeking resolution. I will certainly not rent any properties from this host in the future. I plan to issue a complaint with VRB
