Excellent modern apartment.

Modern, clean, well equipped apartment situated in a quiet residential area. Very secure property with electric shutters on all windows. Well located, five minute walk from fabulous beach, three minute drive to great supermarket and five minute drive to Lagos old town.

Only one other apartment in use when we were there so we had the pool to ourselves, although we preferred the local beach, which was superb.

A car is a necessity, no shops or bars nearby, and only two restaurants at the beach. We drove into Lagos and ate either in the marina or the old town every night and were spoilt for choice.

Worth visiting Cape St Vincent and the great beaches and bays of the west coast of Portugal. Like a more rugged version of Cornwall.

An excellent holiday.

Lovely well equipped spacious apartment, very light and airy.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay, great location for trips to the beach or days spent by the pool, restaurant and shops short drive away.

Beautiful apartment with pool & wifi

Stayed here for 5 nights with my 14 year old daughter. This is lovely, clean, well equipped and very spacious apartment. There are balconies off both the bedrooms the kitchen and the one from the lounge area is a nice size with 2 loungers, a table and chairs.

The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe space, air-conditioning (which we barely needed as apt. is big and airy).

Outside there's a nice pool which, as other's have said was rarely used by other people so as stated, was virtually private.

Wifi was a bonus as was having English tv channels although again only caught a programme once.

Sylvester who manages the property was friendly, helpful and very informative.

I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet. While a car is not essential it would definitely make life easier although taxi's into Lagos are easy and reliable.

Our favourite restaurant was 'The Lighthouse' at the marina - good food and very friendly, English speaking staff.

Agréable séjour

Super appartement, très propre, très bon accueil avec Sylvestre.

Il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans l'appartement. La climatisation est vraiment un plus.

Le barbecue a bien servi.

Par contre le soir c'est un peu inactif autour de la résidence, le centre ville est a 45 minute de marche, il faut donc prendre la voiture.

Sinon la plage est a 5 minutes de marche et il y a de la place.

Five Star Holiday in Porto Mos

We spent a week in this beautiful resort in July. The apartment was exactly as advertised, very spacious, excellent location – pool next door, beach 5 min walk and Lagos short drive. It was lovely and quiet and with two teenage daughters the internet and Wi-Fi were a godsend!

We walked the beautiful cliff walk to Luz every morning, cooled off in the pool on the way back and spent hours on the gorgeous beach at Porto Mos every day. We like to eat in a lot, and the apartments facilities were more than adequate for cooking, we even managed to stick to the washing up ‘rota’ in the absence of the dishwasher!

We found the owners most accommodating and very efficient and pleasant to deal with, and the rep. on site was most helpful. We really had a super holiday and would love to visit again in the future.

We would highly recommend this property.

Definitely NOT " LUXURY " as advertised!!

Dirty, neglected apartment nothing 'luxury' as advertised... Stained sofa, rusted toilet paper and brush holder, rusted clothes dryer which we never used incase our clothes got damaged. The highchair although not needed looked as if it had never been cleaned, the oven and barbecue were disgusting, mould on the barbecue from food still left on it, the oven pan was grease stained as if never been washed and crumbs in the oven door. The microwave was rusted, the plates and cups were chipped and old, overall the cooking facilities were absolutely appalling did not use the oven or barbecue at all during our entire stay and we have photo's to prove how disgusting they were. The outside patio furniture swayed from side to side and was not safe to sit on, the pool was dirty and full of flies when we arrived, although the apartment is advertised for 6 people additional charges apply for the extra 2 people, however only 4 sun beds supplied so not sure how everyone can enjoy the pool area together?? Front door key coded system did not work which meant someone coming downstairs each time to open the door, the garage fob did not work, again someone would have to come down to the garage and open it from the inside to use it therefore we didn't use it due to the inconvenience. The agents did not make any attempt at contacting us throughout our stay regards sorting out the inconvenience of the front door and garage fob, and instead of compensating for the inconvenience monies were deducted from our deposit as the so called 'cleaner' had to wash up breakfast dishes on the morning we checked out !!

The apartment has been very neglected and I feel the agent/owners are not maintaining it's upkeep, therefore I would definitely recommend raising the above issues with the owner before booking to ensure they have been rectified.

It ruined our holiday and cost us a lot more than anticipated as we ended up eating out or getting a takeaway every night, on top of the extra charges.

I've stayed in similar apartments in this area for the last 6 years and not once experienced an apartment like this, we have always stayed in beautiful apartments that do provide "luxury"....but this one certainly was not!!.
