Beautiful house in Scotland

We loved our stay at this comfortable, large home with breath-taking views of the bay and mountain. Andrew was easy to work with and the house had all the conveniences of home. We thought it was a perfect mix of privacy and accessibility. We felt like we had our own little corner of Scotland but were also an easy drive to Oban, which provided restaurants and access to the car ferry for trips to the islands. We highly recommend this lovely house!

Faultless luxury amidst perfect tranquility

We arrived at the property and all went 'wow'...location is just spectacular. on entering the house we all again said 'wow'...the feeling of space, the views, the uniqueness of the layout...everything was perfect. We were fairly active during our stay but we were drawn back to the house to really enjoy it during our time, it just oozes that feeling of enjoyment and comfort!

Will we be back? Without a shadow of doubt. It is pretty much paradise for a group of people looking to enjoy either the area or just each others company. You will not be disappointed!

Spacious yet warm and cosy. Clean, quiet, relaxing. Great views incl. stars at night.

We were 3 families (incl. 5 kids under 10 years old) and it was ideal for us with a lounge and shower room per family yet a dining room with a table big enough for all of us. Plus fully equipped kitchen and dining area. We went fishing in the Loch, walked in the area which had many great photo opportunities, stayed in and watched movies, read books in the house, played music though the great speaker system (using working wifi) in the main lounge and cooked fresh seafood from an Oban fishmongers. Great time away from city life.

The house is in a perfect location, is very well equipped and is decorated and furnished beautifully. We all had a wonderful stay and really hope to return some time in the future.

It was Bon-awesome!

We've known this beautiful area for years and we've seen the building fall into disrepair and then be renovated into the stunning home that it is today. The house is gorgeous and has a huge "wow" factor and yet still feels cosy and homely. It is literally a stones throw from the loch and the highlight of the week was watching a mother otter with her two kits fishing and playing directly in front of the house - amazing! The huge living space works very well for a large group (there were ten in our party) because there are four different living areas and you can find your own bit of "chill out time" if you want it. Conversely, if you all want to be together, the rooms are set up so that you can do that too. The decor is luxurious and there are some beautiful paintings and personal effects which add to the character of the house and make it feel a very loved home. The views are breathtaking and the location is extremely peaceful. There is literally no noise except the sounds of the birds in the trees (slightly eerie if you're outside at night but the lights shining from houses across the loch stop you feeling too isolated). We had a six and seven year old with us and they loved fishing from the rocks infront of the house. We caught Rock Cod, Coley, Gurnard and lots of crabs! We took the children to the nearby Sea Life Centre (pay once and you can go as many times as you want for a full week) and to the Cruachan Power Station which was also well worth a visit. We were blessed with lovely weather all week to enjoy the breathtaking autumn colours so we were very content to make the most of the fishing and walking which could be done from the doorstep. Tigh na Breac is a gorgeous house in a stunning place. We had a fabulous holiday and we hope to return again soon.
