This flat was ideal for our Easter weekend trip to Blairgowrie visiting relatives . We arrived well into the evening after a very long drive on Good Friday, and the owner's mother who was arranging the key handover was very accommodating and welcoming notwithstanding our late arrival. The flat is well presented and maintained to a high standard, and we were very comfortable. We particularly liked the stunning views over the River Ericht from the living room. This part of the country wasn't affected by Storm Katie, but it was still too cold and wet for us to be able to use the balcony or do much walking, so we were glad to be able to see the river in all its glory from the sofa. I grew up two minutes' walk from the Ericht and spent a large part of my childhood paddling and swimming in it, watching the salmon swim upstream to spawn, and exploring the banks. The smell of the balsam poplars on a sunny day in spring is wonderful.
We spent nine days in this immaculate, spacious, comfortable apartment on the riverbank and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The owner was unobtrusiove, but would have been ready to help if needed. But as it was, we had no reason to complain about anything: all was in tip-top order. Blairgowrie is the ideal base for day trips in all directions, be it to Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Blair Castle, Balmoral, the Central Highlands or the Cairngorms. The little town itself is pretty, well endowed with shops and supermarkets, and the local populace is extremely friendly and helpful.
We would warmly recommend the apartment and the town to anyone planning a holiday in this part of Scotland.
Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet block of flats close to the centre of Blairgowrie, overlooking the river Ericht.
We had a lovely week's stay in this apartment in Perthshire. The apartment is modern, and has been well maintained. We found the location to be ideal for doing day trips by car throughout central and northern Scotland. We chose to cook some meals at home, and also enjoyed restaurants in the surrounding countryside which emphasize use of locally grown food. Be sure to try the Alyth Hotel in Alyth, a lovely restored restaurant a short drive from Blairgowrie.
Our only recommendation is that the apartment owner provide free WiFi or indicate which businesses in Blairgowrie provide WiFi.
Will definitely recommend this apartment to our friends.

As a family we had a wonderful holiday at Riverview. The property was clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. All modren facillities were avaliable; with a well equiped kitchen, balcony with stunning views of the the river, and very comfortable beds. It really felt like a "home from home." The booking, finding the location and the subsequent handing over of the keys on arrival and upon departure was simple and straight forward. We certainly felt we had good customer service.
Blairgowerie itself was very scenic, with adequate shopping, and eating facilities. We would certaily recommend this property as great base to enjoy the delights of the surrounding countryside. And with Perth and Dundee a short distance away for more intensive retail therapy, this was a holiday we all enjoyed. We will be back!!!!!!!
We stayed for a week in June mostly to visit relatives in the area. We were amazed at the great location, river on your doorstep with beautiful walks (our 18mth old daughter loved sitting on the rocks watching the water flowing by and waiting for the fish to jump) and an easy stroll into Blairgowrie centre itself with everything you need from food shopping to galleries to bistros. You can even spend a very pleasant day relaxing in the flat and look out at the trees from the sofa - Perthshire's not called Big Tree Country for nothing! The flat itself was beautifully presented and had everything you could possibly need and the owner and key holder were both very helpful. There are many things to do and places to visit in the area including Scone Palace, Pitlochry and Perth and we even went up to Aviemore area to visit family without too much hassle.
We'll definitely consider this place again next time we're up.
