Excellent apartment at great location

We were very impressed with the apartment. The communication upfront our stay was great, so we were completely prepared when we arrived. The apartment was clean and spacious. The balcony is a great feature, we could do some air plane spotting over breakfast. Inside of the apartment we didn't hear any noise coming from the airport which was great. We visited the swimming pool every day, and we were always able to get beach chairs and an umbrella.

From the apartment it is a short walk to Maho beach, one of the most exciting beaches you can find. Also Mullet bay is in walking distance, which is a beautiful beach, visited by many locals.

The parking garage and supermarket below the apartment are a great feature as well. If you don't rent a car, you can easily take a dollar-bus (local public transportation), they stop just in front of the apartment.

We had a great time and will certainly come back!

Perfect apartment, great location, wonderful host

My husband and I had a great stay in Sip and Len's beautiful apartment. The location is great, very safe and lots of activities around. There is a parking garage and supermarket underneath the building, which is very handy. The best beaches on the island (Maho beach (next to the airport where you see all the big planes landing) and Mullet beach) are only a 5 min. walk. Highly recommended!

GREAT STAY AND WHAT A VIEW

If you want to stay at Maho beach for a very reasonable price this is the place.

The view from your balcony is fantastic and the apartment is spacious clean and well maintained and has everything you could need to enjoy your a vacation.

Maho restaurants are just a few steps away and there is a supermarket underneath the building were you can get all you need.

We changed our travel dates a couple of times and the owner Len was very accommodating with our request in one simple email.

Staff were very friendly & check in check out a breeze.

The pool area was never crowded and at times felt like we had the place to ourselves. The view if you want to see 747s landing & taking off from the pool terrace is spectacular & a must for aviation fans.

Overall great communication with Len the owner , a fantastic apartment and will be back again.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit super Ausblick !!

Anlage wie beschrieben es war alles vorhanden was man so benötigt.

Großer Balkon mit genialem Ausblick.

Hauskeeping kam einmal in der Woche zum reinigen .

Strandhandtücher konnten täglich gewechselt werden .Supermarkt war um die Ecke.

Anlage war ruhig und sehr sauber.

Liegen waren am Pool wie am Strand immer verfügbar.

Vermieter Len beantwortet jede Frage und ist sehr hilfsbereit.

not very happy with this unit

We stayed here for a week and were very surprised to find out that we needed to supply our own toilet paper in the bathroom, and bags to take out the garbage. we paid extra for a third person and it was only set up for two people. all linen was stained and well worn. service is only after you leave (which you pay for) and the towels were pretty rank by the time 7 days went by even after airing them out every day on the balcony. the hide a bed was not set up to use even though we paid extra for a third person. we found linen in a drawer that we could use but there was a note that stated "do not use this linen-it belongs to the owners". we had to pay $50.00 for internet for the week and that was only for two devices...which there was three of us, all with our own device.

location is good and close to a small grocery store. we have travelled a lot in the last 20 years in all kinds of rentals, much of it on st maarten, and have never experienced anything like this place. would not recommend this to anyone

Resposta do proprietário: From the review I understand that the guests expected to stay in a suite with hotel service. In the advertisement, we describe that the suite is a privately owned unit in a resort. We make it clear that housekeeping is not provided every day, but once per week. This includes the change of linens and towels. Beach towels can be exchanged daily. In the ad it is indicated, that extra housekeeping can be provided, but at additional cost. If required this can be done on a daily basis. We, as owners, share the use of the apartment with our guests. We expect our guests to use the unit in a similar way as we do ourselves. Toilet paper is provided, but when used, we expect our guests to buy as much as they need. We advertise the suite for use by two persons. Before booking, we had an extensive communication with these guests about the sofa bed she refers to. It is not the king size bed that is provided in the bedroom. However, if the guests decide to go ahead nevertheless, that is their decision. It is a pity that the unit did not meet the expectations of the guests. But then, there are many returning guests that have a different opinion.

Great View from Balcony

We stayed a week in this condo and enjoyed it very much. The balcony is huge and offer a great view on the Maho Beach, the Saba Island and the pool. The pool area is nice and never crowded. A must for plane spotters : the pool area has an elevated deck from where you see the planes landing right in front of you (no planes landing between 10 pm and 7.00 am). Would stay there again without any doubt.
