A home away from home

This is an ideal location for exploring the North of Cornwall. it is located very close to the Camel Trail ( at the bottom of a long hill) along which you can walk or cycle. There is easy access across country to Padstow and Wadebridge as well as the A30 at Bodmin. There were also some fantastic night skies without any light pollution. As we were visiting friends and old haunts we did not eat out locally other than pasties in Padstow. I would recommend Pasty Pesto in Padstow as that was recommended by life long locals and for a civilised cup of coffee, the wine shop.

As a family of four we were very happy and comfortable in this spotlessly clean cottage. The description of the cottage was accurate and basic things were provided such as tea towels, a cloth to wash up with and washing up liquid.

The quality of the furniture was very high as was the bedding and towels - of which there were plenty and fluffy too. We happen to stay in a very cold, albeit dry week and so welcomed the heating being on when we arrived and the cottage being warm and cosy throughout our stay.

We had to make a last minute booking and had no problems contacting the owner who dealt with our enquiries promptly. The details of how to get to the cottage, location of key and what was needed to be done on departure were very clear and accurate. The owners had left a folder of information regarding local shops and restaurants as well a good selection of tourist guides which was very helpful.

This cottage is definitely one I would recommend to my family and friends because it felt like home from home.

Nice quiet cottage for 4 persons

We spend one week in this nice cottage.

It's a nice cottage for what I would say 4 persons.

Nice to be inside the gate if you have smaller children like us.

Master bed is okay, except if you are tall your feet will stick over the end of the bed.

Everything you need is in there, except a washing machine.

Not a problem if it is nice weather and if you can do a handwash if necesarry.

Little minor we thought there was, was a bit of an oilsmell in the room(s) which was caused by the oilheating.

But maybe we are not used to this.

All in all we had a nice week with nice weather, plenty of time to explore the area and stay home and read looots of books.

Beautiful cottage!!

Corner Cottage is so lovely and a credit to the owners who obviously look after it with a lot of TLC. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, with a lovely quiet location that simply could not be beat.

I stayed here with my parents who were visiting from New Zealand and we had such a lovely time. Having 2 bathrooms made the world of difference! We opted to eat in every evening because it was such a relaxed place to be with no traffic noise and only the sheep and pheasants for company - bliss. The cottage has everything you need for catering.

Being a stroll away from the Camel Trail was definitely a bonus, as was being only a short car journey away from Wadebridge with all its amenities. A great location for touring Cornwall as it never seemed to be more than an hours drive away from everything, even Lands End.

I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a delightful place to stay to get away from it all.

Good location, quality furniture & furnishings

You can tell that it is the owner's holiday home by the high quality of the furniture and furnishings - a rare treat to find comfortable chairs, beds and high quality towels and duvets in rental accommodation. It was also a luxury to have a separate bathroom, both with a bath and shower, for each of the two bedrooms.

The cottage is set in a small private courtyard of holiday cottages. It is very quiet and relaxing and an excellent location for touring both the North and South Coast (Polzeath and Padstow both around ½ hr away). It's well situated with easy access to the main A roads so you can usually avoid those twisty Cornish roads to reach your destination.

We would definitely book this accommodation again for a Cornwall holiday.

Corner Cottage Helland Bridge cornwall

A very Charming and Beautiful Cottage/apartment. The Property was a very well kept and Modern feel to it. It had all mod coms from a Dish washer to Digital Channels.

The Location was Brilliant, Easy to Find , only a matter of minutes away from places like Wadebridge, Padstow the Eden Project and the Beautiful north Coast of Cornwall. I would recommend this property as very homely with Charm.

The only disadavantage was the Mobile Phone Signal, it dropped to 1/2 bars !!! but maybe thats a Good Thing !!!!!
