The Manitou Beach House is everything you need for a carefree holiday with friends, family and pets. Modestly finished and furnished, a fully outfitted farm size kitchen and same floor laundry will make your stay worry free. This 1000 square foot, 3 bedroom house with a 4 peice bathroom is situated on a hill with a peacefull view of Little Manitou Lake. Walk down the lakefront to Danceland and meet the 'village people' for morning coffee. Then continue past local motels and businesses to the Manitou Springs Mineral Pool and Spa for a morning swim. Ask the hotel for shuttle service to Danceland, but not until you revel in their amazing gift and clothing shop. And that's just the beginning of the fun to be had at Manitou.

October Stay

This house was everything we needed for our trip. We had 4 adults and we had plenty of room. The open floor plan from the kitchen to the living room is great for socializing. Sharon was very accommodating for our stay and we plan on visiting again!

Great trip to Manitou Beach

This house worked out perfect for our group of 6. The owners are great to work with and our pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed every day there.

We really liked to stay at this place. The hosts were very kind, friendly and attentive. The house is clean and comortable . There is everything what you need for living. Very pleasant area. We really hope that next year we’ll visit Sharon again.

A good vacation in spite of a few problems.

This was our 3rd year visiting Manitou Beach, and really like the amenities and recreation in the area. The place we have stayed the previous 2 yrs wasn’t available for the week we were traveling, so we looked at this property. Our party was bigger than the listing afforded, but looking at the pictures on line, I felt the space should suit our needs, so I contacted the owner and asked if it would be a problem to have more than the listing, and if there was an extra charge. She stated “That is fine”. When we arrived, the owner noticed there were more of us than the booking stated, and raised the issue with me. I told her that I had contacted her and said that she said it would be okay. Later she came and asked for an additional money. I paid the extra $ as I did not want to have the issue spoil our vacation that we had travelled 6.5 hrs to get to. As for the property itself, I was pleased to see it had some amenities that were not listed on the site, such as a BBQ & a fire pit. The yard was nice for our 2 small grandchildren to play in when we weren’t headed to a park or the beach, or other activities. The site lists the property as air conditioned, but this is a wall A/C unit in the utility room that does not circulate to the bedrooms. Fortunately, the weather wasn’t as warm as last year when the temperature hit 38C one of the days. We went to the hardware store in town and purchased a fan to circulate the air better, and that coupled with the cooler conditions, the temperature in the unit was tolerable. We did open windows at night, but the one in the room I was in didn’t have a screen on it, we avoided bugs by keeping the light off in the bedroom.

Sharon and Robert are new Saskatchewan residents who saw the wisdom and potential in Manitou Beach several years ago. They brought this previously owned home from a nearby property and are presently finishing the exterior and walk-out basement.

Little Manitou Lake is said to have a higher mineral count than the Dead Sea. People come from all over the world to enjoy the healthful benefits in the mineral pools. The neightbours are mostly year round residents who are Saskatchewan friendly and helpful and health focussed. There are also many fun activities in the area like golf, Danceland, a drive-in movie, weekly farmers market, up-town coffee spot, steak house, gift shops, galleries and beach volleyball at the bar.
